Evsicerator ideas?

I'm about to make an Eviscerator for my B&C killteam, to be wielded by a Flesh Tearer - so he might as well have the toy to do it properly, right? - which will count as the powerfist. The thing is, I don't really want the standard giant chainsword/chainsaw. I was thinking of using the cutter wheel from the Penitent Engine on a staff, but any more suggestions?

I would sugest using the rock drill. I have seen someone elses Fleash tearer army with the cutting wheel/buzz saw one.

aaaw man, you got to be kidding me, a bihander chainsword is the coolest thing around, serieusly.

but just to help you get an uncool Eviscerator :) maybe you could get a 2 small cutting wheel, put them in a bihander frame and make it look like they spin in oppesite directions, that way when it hits the flesh the 2 saws will tear the flesh from the enemie and release it in the air afterwards. understand what i'm saying?

well you prolly don't understand what i'm thinking, but if you do i think it will make a great conversion

How about giving him forearm mounted chainswords?

Set them up where the chain runs from the hand back to the elbow. Have his fighting style consist of forearm sweeps, elbow smashes, gut shots, etc...

I like the look of a chainsword with a pole handle.

Take a chaos chainsword (the one that is curved looks the best) and mount it on a spear like weapon (something like the grey knights halberd).

What you get is a chainsword glaive that looks really nice, and is easy to convert.

Maybe it would look nice if you cut out the straight parts of several chainswords and stuck them together to get a very long sword with a short handle, or you could put two chainswords end on end and but a handle in the middle, or put a handle inbetween so its like a staff with a chainsword on either end.

Heres a terrible diagram, sorry I dont have a wacom tablet anymore so its difficult.

Straying from the chainsword for a moment...This idea might take some gsing skill and creativity...but how about you make some sort of spinning flail? I'm thinking on the end of a pole and once revved up, it could chew through just about anything. Or since he's a flesh tearer(good choice btw) you could go for the circular saw like in the chapter icon. Could be fun.

Peace,

This is the method I used for my Legio B&C character, Golgotha's Unfeasably large Apollyon Pattern chainsword. It is pretty easy to make, and with luck I will be posting an assault squad of my Scions of Dorn with them... Mark 6's (22 exposed teeth compared to the bog standard 15) for sergeants and mark 4's (19 exposed teeth) for the other battle brothers... Mind you, the Apollyon pattern is simply a really good chainsword rather than an eviscerator, but sticking a couple of the double sided ones together might look just brutal enough.

In keeping with your original idea: have you ever seen a concrete saw? how about the movie High Tension? If neither of those accurately convey my idea try these:

Well, all the obvious things have been mentioned.

"Now for something completely different."

Circular buzzsaws (maybe the more brutal ones from the witch hunters range), swinging on the ends of chains. One chain in each hand, the saw blades on the end. No motor, just a medieval-looking hacking wepaon.

Use the curved chains from the chaos vehicle sprue to make them look as if the marine is swinging them around.

Buzz saws on his fists....

i know i could be more descriptive, umm...i guess like wolverine, but instead of claws, have one saw blade on the back of each fist... like a punching dagger or something, but only buzz saw blades instead of daggers

do you get what i am saying or is it complete jibberish???
