Sisters test scheme

Fallen

Recommended Posts

This is a sample model from a bunch of sisters I'm working on, the Order of Imperishable Flame.

Base is obviously incomplete, but otherwise done - I'm going for a decent level of "tabletop quality".

I'm wondering specifically about the green accents (Cables, lenses, etc.)... I was considering blue, but went with green. It doesn't look to Christmas-y does it?

Oh, and +10 geek points to whoever get's the Order name reference ;)

Thanks for any constructive criticism!

Not too Christmasy at all...besides, red and green are complimentary colours. Your opponents can joke about the Christmas Curse Nuns all they want, but you'll be the one saying "ho ho ho" when you beat up their army! :)

Looks awfully similar to my sisters:

This one is to wide to post.

The details do differ,

I haven't decided on a name for the order though.

Green looks great, leave it.

Cool, I'll stick with the green then. Thanks for the comments.

@UreeL: Wow, those sisters ARE pretty similar. I guess there's only so many combinations of black, white, red, silver, and gold  I really like the Imagifier you have on your site... what bit is that relic from?

The Bangles??? The "Imperishable Flame" is from an obscure Tolkien reference.

I'm not geek enough to explain it myself, so I'll link it... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_fire

Now that I look it up, I realize it should be "Order of the Flame Imperishable"... Ooops!

Great job, especilly on the robes! The face is also lovely <_<.

I'm going to second Des on two subjects:

1) leave the green, it looks great

2) The Bangles? That was actually my first guess too!
