I like the turret on top of the tank like that, it makes it look larger and more imposing, kind of like having to stare down at everyone else. What pattern is it, standard or crusader? Nicorex Posted May 22, 2006 Author Share Posted May 22, 2006 It is a Cusader Pattern LR, Except I will be ,making some interchangable bits to make it my Upgraded VDR Spartan. The upgrades will turn the top gun into a twin H-Bolter, and the side sponsoons will be twin linked Assault cannons that can carry 10 Terminators This is mostly just for the cool look I think it will have, I wont actually play it that way. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE! The Dean Posted May 22, 2006 Share Posted May 22, 2006 Looks really... Mighty. :blush: one little gripe though: the MM looks a bit ... weedy to me. Maybe set it a bit back, further into the hull, so that it doesn't extend over the Ramp so far... I think the problem is, that the part where it merges with the hull is quite a bit thinner than the front part that's sticking out... Nicorex Posted May 22, 2006 Author Share Posted May 22, 2006 I understand what you are saying, but that should be fixed when i get to the GS stage, I am going to wrap in in GS to look like the armored (mabye) cloth they used to use on Machinguns on tanks. So it wont look so thin after that. To me it needs to ectend past the ramp while raised, what use is a support weapon that you cant shoot when your troops need it. :blush: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well a Long time ago between Rouge trader and Rouge trader Update to 40K1, Land Raiders could not carry Terminators. So someone (I think one of the main guys at Forgeworld now) Made a Elongated Land raider, basicly a LR updise down and backwords (iirc) and slapped the front half of a rhino on to the front (without the treads, just the crew and cargo area) and called it a Spartan, It could now carry 5 Terminators or mabye 10 I cant even remember anymore.
