Will there be a round two as i really want to ge tinvolved but RL is doing what it does best and detracting from painting time!

Any sort of timescale till round two?

I know you are a busy man REFUSE and are only thinking about this round so feel free to tell me where to go!!

I think I am caught up.

Have been validating lists and updating the wiki.

I have 2 incomplete entries and 9 completed entries.

I will get the armies validated, and their "broken" rules updated.

Slow on the fluff so we will start sans fluff (more as I get time, nothing like RL).

For players:
Mission 1: Boarding Party
You must get one marine out one of the Genestealer Entry points to win.
Failing to do that is a loss.

You may continue to Mission 2 if after 12 turns there are no Stealers in the marine's deployment zone (but that isn't a win!)

Marines have first turn unless stealers buy it.


Stealers have made their choices for each player:

Marines go first (stealers didn't buy a first turn over ride).
Genestealers are "inactive" until the end of the first marine turn. And won't show up on trackers until they move.

Marines playing (per the list).
Please provide me (PM) a list of your marine's starting positions, orientations and first turn moves.

(only an example using Lord Chrisius III)

Deployment:
Veteran Sergeant Chrisius VI: Alpha 1: South
Veteran Litirius: Alpha 2: South

Veteran Adhermar: Alpha 3: South

Veteran Aradus: Bravo 2: South

Veteran Vindictus: Bravo 1: South

Turn:
Chrisuius: Move foward 3 squares (3pts)
Turn East (1 pt)
Move Forward 2 squares (2 pts)
Litirius: Move forward 4 squares (4 pts)
Turn East (1 pt)
Move forward 1 square (1 pt)
Adhermar: Move forward 5 squards (5 pts)
Turn east (1 pt)
Vindictus: Move forward 3 squares (3 pts)
Open Door (1 pt)
Set overwatch with assault cannon (2 pts)
Aradus: Move forward 3 squares (3 pts )
Set Overwatch with storm bolter (3 pts)
Command Points: (2 pts from Sgt)
Chrisuius: Move foward 1 square(1pts)
Litirius: Move foward 1 square (1 pt)
End Turn

For Chrisuius he will then have the stealers move. The stealers will start with 3 blips, and get 2 blips per turn (since they didn't deploy before the first turn, the reinforcements don't start until second turn).

One of the initial blips may be deployed anywhere out of LoS from the marines (yes, it can start just behind the door Chrisuius is standing in front of! Oh, he forgot to go on overwatch!

The stealers have got the drop on the marines, the reason why will come out in the fluff.

Players have till Wednesday (3 days) to submit there turns, turns will be processed on the day they are submitted (so the faster you are, the faster I will try to be).

1. Good question. I will have to look over the entry when they are "put together".
This would be the same for Chaos ACs.

2.

Lightning Claws
+1 WS for the wielder. In addition to other increases. This means that normal marines in Space Hulk with 2 Lighting claws will be +2 WS. +1 for Lighting Claws, and +1 for no ballistic weapons.

+1 WS for lightning claw.
No additional +1 for no ballistic weapon.

So yes.

Players will not have each of the stealer's actions to react on.
Give a set of guidelines/instructions for use of the Command points during the stealers turn.

i.e. imagine your captain giving "over view orders".

Example:
Priority:
Clear Jams
fire at stealers in sight
step back and fire at stealers


Clear Jams (have assault cannon clear first, then storm bolters if stealer get within 3 squares)
fire at stealers in sight (For people not on overwatch)
step back and fire at stealers (if stealers get within 1 square of Model X)
If command points left over, command X to move forward Y unless he would move into btb with stealer, then use any left over points to move X1 and X2 forward equally.

Yes, I determined that the penalty of the mutable law breaking is worth the 2" of movement per Wolf Guard Terminator.

Since after reading the material going out for the first round, i almost feel inclined to carefully read up on everything for round 2 as i got confused on a few aspects here and there.
