Yep, just play it as a Stave, you are using a legit GW model, and as WarriorFish pointed out there is no question rules-wise. The more 'classic' a model gets the worse I feel converting it! Better to run them as-is, from a collector's POV as well.

Its a shame when a game built by a large team of artists, vfx , modelers, coders, is let down by the members/producers involved with gameplay. Not to say that isn't important or difficult, but gameplay balance issues and features is one of the possibly easiest to tweak after the fact, just needing the right subtle skill and playtesting. Still remember the Aliens game (colonial marines?) that shipped with a single typo in code that disconnected the aliens from their AI routines Anyways game looks good! Thanks for sharing

WIth the 9th FOC changes harming our ability to take characters, It would be nice to see aspiring sorcerers in rubric squads get real smite or options. If they push the story and give a way for thousand sons to be remade, would that become something else in game? No longer automata (but not psychic) could they be worked into a Havoc-like role? Perhaps be given weapons that disrupt enemy psykers, or fast moving with an aura that can deny Deny the witch (custom JP eye-of-the-crow vibe) Or they writhe and mutate into chaotic forms as they were doing pre-rubric, but with magnus guiding the transformation they become something more, like decent mutilators?

Love the bases! Especially the painting looks good! What greys did you use? The fabius model looks great too all complete! You have a way of making the face blend naturally into the model, at least from the photos. -
If you are going to copy the pose in those warhound reference photos you have there, would be amazing, that looks really organic and swift. Id love to make some more Titanicus warhounds like that now Really like the dirty/clean white scheme you've managed for malinax, Forgive me if you've discussed but the selective marbling you've done looks amazing, you should try that more! And yes, more weathering powders!

Really like the subtle and realistic highlights on the acolytes white cloth and skin, the ultra has seen better days but pristine armour! The lord of virulence looks like an opera singer, sorry, thats what i see... could well fit for Nurgle: Pavorotting Gorgonzolar, belting out some virulent ear-worms that really stick in your head.... -
That looks fantastic! Love the drybrushing, it looks really good with the CF colors. My main opponent always had CF (thought he now has like every army there is...) and he never drybrushes, instead labouring over the turquise highlights. The added touches like the markings on the helmet and the extra decals (skull, II) really sell that old-school vibe.

Really nice formatting! Couldn't get that quality myself. The whole history and niche youve devised is unique and ominous. The whole wolf and sheep aspect and friendship with russ is so spooky, I love it! orange is my fav color but never had the guts to make an orange army (besides some detail aspects) so its really cool to see how all the elements work. I like the extra leather strips under the shoulderpads on the marines and you really get the symbol done well all over.

Had a break from 40k for a bit, then wanted to build something as i wait for some paints and pigments to arrive. Needed a lord of some type for my Steel Jackals, but again my bits box isnt where I want it in terms of character legs/torsos. First off thought I would buy some new primaris char to convert but instead went for a bitz dive to knock one out instead. As I already have the chosen champ with primaris legs i was apprehensive to have a smaller-stature lord but ill swap their bases later to balance their stature. So realized I could'nt take a basic bolter, swapped the gun hand with 'come-on' pose Torso: FW SoH, head:AoS chaos warriors, sword from headtaker
