  1. Not perfect but here you go!
  2. I built this thing with the body from a zombie dragon:
  3. Yep, just play it as a Stave, you are using a legit GW model, and as WarriorFish pointed out there is no question rules-wise. The more 'classic' a model gets the worse I feel converting it! Better to run them as-is, from a collector's POV as well.
  4. You are doing the Lord [of Skulls]'s work! Bloody Amen! How long are the corpse grinder arms? Longer than CSM?
  5. If you are going to copy the pose in those warhound reference photos you have there, would be amazing, that looks really organic and swift. Id love to make some more Titanicus warhounds like that now Really like the dirty/clean white scheme you've managed for malinax, Forgive me if you've discussed but the selective marbling you've done looks amazing, you should try that more! And yes, more weathering powders!
  6. That looks fantastic! Love the drybrushing, it looks really good with the CF colors. My main opponent always had CF (thought he now has like every army there is...) and he never drybrushes, instead labouring over the turquise highlights. The added touches like the markings on the helmet and the extra decals (skull, II) really sell that old-school vibe.
  7. Looking good! Like the custom legion of the damned! Looks like some decent progress getting those squats done up
  8. Taking old models and getting them fit for combat in 8th ed!

Any of my stuff that falls into category Imperium, for self-aggrandizement throughout the forums.
  10. If you are uploading from an iphone you can choose to select a smaller starting file size (there is always a photo-conversion anyways, but b&c states under 2mb) I suppose the same on other phones. Edit: example of the option From PC you will need to scale the photo down first. If its a png convert to jpg for major mem savings
  11. Thanks Kolgrim! Quick update as I ended up printing out a bunch of 40mm name plates and add them to my old space hulk models and a few HQs: Here's a quick shot of some of my HQs in the display case with the plates: That is some classy stuff! I can dream of having a display case with enough painted things to make it worth it! Are you priming the names? Are you going to make names for all the other basic models? (like a whole armies worth of names...)
  12. Wow, I really love the small details on those zerkers, like the ropes in the skulls to hold them to chains, and I need to fine those pins you use for the chain endings! Jaxom up top said it: they look crisp. The primaris armor is imposing and spartan in details, along with the pre-hersey scheme its a perfect match. You've inspired me to bash up more berserker conversions myself (mostly from older kits though)
  13. What do you think is the best start for a soul grinder, hell-pit abomination or boneripper? And yea not all the clan/god divisions work together for example, skyre machines could fit in different places. Was thinking the assassins (Eshin) could also appear quite khorne bloodletter-like, with the doomwheel fitting in as a skull cannon, but again the warp lightning cannon could as well, and even stormvermin could work well as bloodletters, so it's all open to interpretation really. I don't think its a bad thing to optimize a list first then match it all up with appropriate models (we all want an army to feel potent, even when collecting it) That said, if a new codex is coming with the belakor model on the way, what is considered optimum could all change. About the poxbringer with corruption blade... feels off having a big lightning-claw as a stand-in for a blade, though it works based on that weapon's re-roll to wound (just lose the bolter) Also little embellishments like the flat bladed part on his helmet, which usually helps indicate the clan, could be reserved for identifying the appropriate god if you do multiple gods. (eg stormvermin as bloodletters with clawlord as herald keep the head-bit which is very reminiscent of the juggernaut's head spikes, while your nurgle stand-ins lose it) And I'm guessing you've seen the new WHQuest coming with perfect large-based rat swarms, piled up just like nurglings and perfectly undeadish. Time will tell if that game is priced well enough to grab those separately on ebay.
  14. I have a chaos concept army (animal god) that uses rat, bat, wolf and werewolf themes, and used gargoyle wings on chaos warhounds. You could swap the heads into skaven heads to be perfect winged rats (bats?) And the verminking is more tall daemon prince/LoC sized. At 500 pts you should stick with one god, but the different clans idea is great!
  15. Nice work! Those bikes can take some effort. The chained corpses blend well with the seats and NL theme and help fill that back area.
