  1. Th SM one kinde peaked my interest. Thankfully no desolation marines, the duo dreads are somewaht tempting me. Love the Krieg box, but can't really justify an other faction...
  2. I' d reach out to Brother Christopher or search his thread on his thunderhawk for guidelines. I think he' s done just what you want to do. Goos luch
  3. I think this kind of style was used with the original biker bodies where the head and torso were one piece. Nice upgrade set btw.
  4. Nice to see BT didn't need any tweaks. Clearly we are the chosen of the emperor.
  5. I recently experimented with a light gey primer from a local diy store, takes a littl;e longer to dry, but coverage is good, not too thick. and just 8 euros a can.
  6. Oh that's some very nice terrain you've got there. The ancient rocks as well Very well done Can't imagine the amount of time spent on scribbling the script. Lovely!
  7. loving the dread
  8. Really digging your capes. One point of remark, the white crosses on the capes you might want to damage or add some definition to them, in the pics they read to me as painted on, while the red on the capes read as a very convincing cloth texture, with some blending it might read more as woven in. If you get what I'm trying to say. I had the same problems when painting white details, now I try and "dirty it" and the painted on feeling is less. But for the rest, big thumbs up on the creativity and painting!!!
  9. Really love your firstborn project. Good job on the tda Captain, loving the beverage can banner. Need to steal that one for future projects. I started blueing my exhousts on my jump marines too a few years ago, gives better defenition I think. Loving the poses and paintwork.
  10. Well if they digitized wd ill be saving 9 euros a month. My experience is that every nice printed magazine thats gone fully digital, ive stopped reading
  11. Just run the campaign at HH v2, everybody probably has their stuff geard towards v2 at the moment anyway. No use in throwing away your preparations, expectations and pre campaign enthousiasm due to a changing ruleset. You already have all the relevant rulebooks i'm assuming. So go for it. But I'm totally in your camp regarding rules, I've started in 3 ed, and just been painting my models for the last 3 editions of 40K and just when I feel comfortable with the rules to venture out and play they change them..
  12. John Blanche did the illustrations? Sure looks like his style. And yes I do miss the gritty art in the codexes.
  13. No one will stop you from using the 10th ed codex for years to come. As long as you have opponents with the same mindset. Unfortunately I'm lacking those. And Yes, I too tire of the 3 year cycle. It takes me ages to get my head around new rules and then it changes again... Autism spectra sometimes sucks.
  14. Really loving this model. Will defo grab this guy when I'm able.
