  1. I really love the old metal techmarines. I've got a few of them myself as well.
  2. Very nice miniatures. Loving them. Very inspiring.
  3. But what was wrong with the old you pay for your upgrades system? Or has the majority of the human population become too dumb to actually calculate the points cost of their army? (or for that matter, calculate anything?) It was one of my favourite parts of army designing, trying to wedge in that big gun somewhere and get as close to the max point cost as possible..
  4. Agree with previous. Banner looks great. Id wish i could get that level of neatness and detail.
  5. Hmm two months of hectic rl.. Let's repent. I brother Carpenter vow to paint for the month of march one skitarii alpha to the best of my abilities and not just table top ready.
  6. I just got mine into orcs. But i do echo a lot of the older posters. When I was starting (+- 25 yrs ago) i was a painting and assembly machine. But now rl, wife kids house, work, i can't seem to find time and motivation to hobby. Also slowly deteriorating eyesight sucks. I can't focus well anymore when painting faces and that is also a big letdown. But joining challenges such as the 12 months hobby challenge and etl helped me get going again. Also the lack of local players diminishes the chance for an inspiring game.
  7. Yes I fondly remember codex armageddon Sadly I had just painted my first dev squad and whirwhind, who were at the time banned from use as I recall. But it was a good time to be clad in black.
  8. IPA stripped the models I immersed down to the primer. Apparently the spray primer is more resistant to the ipa I use. Breake fluid will strip everyting down eventually. My other hobby is restoring a 1964 Ford Falcon and you won't believe how much damage (monenetary) a leaking master brake cylinder or just spillage can cause in automotive paint repairs.
  9. Leave him as is. He looks great. And in my experience, if you start to fiddle with nice models to make them even nicer it almost always fails, and strips them of any possible lucky charm on the battlefield. (repainted some of my early marshalls and OG EC and they never hit the side of a stationary LR again)
  10. Nice bike squad. I also have to finish my 6 bikes and ass bike. Might nick the ac idea. Love the judicar. Fitting use for a traitor body. Remember Ephilium!
  11. Group shot group shot. You have done Telion justice. Really like the face But then again, what sm does not look good in black.
