  1. Same problem here, Firefox for Android, if that helps.
  2. I'm really disappointed by the increased system requirements over the previous edition. I have an old android tablet that I was hoping to be able to have all my rules on, but it's only running android version 5.1. The new app needs android 7. Considering the old app ran perfectly fine on my tablet, and the seeming lack of new features, I'm very confused as to the lack of support for so many devices that used to run the old app fine. I've tried installing the apk manually, but there's still no luck, not sure there'll be an equivalent to getting windows 11 on unsupported devices here.
  3. Potentially, I have exams coming up soon, so I'm busy at the moment, but I may update it, or add a new version for close quarters once I have more free time.
  4. None of the pillars on the walls are full pillars. They're all halves, and the 32 pillar pieces can make up the other half, if you're not joining two such walls together. There's a cap that goes on top to hide the joint.
  5. Problem with that is it increases the time taken to fight/shoot with a unit. If every model has a different weapon, the fight phase goes on forever. This is a more general problem with the state of the game atm, but it's probably best to not make the situation worse.
  6. Haven't built my box yet, I ended up getting the Age or Darkness box at the same time, so I've a bit of a backlog to get through. Thanks for the warning though.
  7. I also ended up having this problem in the end. I contacted GW about it: So, yeah, looks like we're waiting 'til January or so.
  8. I was able to activate the chaos knights book from the army set when I got it, even though the book wasn't officially out yet. If that's the case, there's no precedent for it.
  9. Unless you have access to a 3D printer, I suggest you experiment with PVC pipe, or similar, as a base for the cannon. Plasticard would likely be suited to rebuilding the front of the tank. As for modularity, it'll be easiest if you give up the front ramp opening (I believe the kit does that), and glue it together into a solid structure, then, glue magnets in where the hinges go, and in place of the axles on the door. Corresponding magnet placements could then be determined on your scratchbuilt cannon front. Then later, a similar scratchbuilt front could be made for the Cerberus laser.
  10. All limits on equiptment are per kill team, so any equiptment limited to one instance is limited to one per kill team, and in the same way you have 10EP in total to spend between all your fire teams. Off topic slightly, but with guard, I'd recommend the veteran guardsman kill team in the octarius book (designed with the krieg models in mind, but you can probably convert a decent amount of them with the cadian kit). There's a lot more variety in special models, to the point that you can field only specials if you want, and I believe that they're stronger competitively too.
  11. You could look at the new eldar corsairs. I was building mine today, some nice rapier style blades on those.
  12. I've wondered in the past, but not had the chance or finances to try, if sprues could be repurposed into 3D lrinter filament. Technology already exists, although it's expensive, to reuse filament cutoffs and printed parts and to turn them into new filament again (info here, if interested: https://all3dp.com/2/the-3d-printer-filament-recycler-s-guide). I believe sprues do melt, so I doubt it's impossible, and could potentially be investigated by 3rd party stores, maybe by making terrain from the recycled filament, and giving out coupons for said terrain when sprues are traded in?
  13. GW has a history of missing stat changes on named characters. Shrike would be 7 wounds and get 2 additional attacks from his claws if they got it right every time.
  14. You will want the kill team accessories set. Technically, you can play without it if you translate all distances into inches and remember which models have acted, but it makes gameplay much easier. The basic rules for all the factions can be found in the kill team compendium book. However, some factions have had more specialist kill teams released that have more versatile options and are generally more fun to play. For space marines, use the compendium for now. They have the phobos strike team in the kill team moroch box (rules also currently exclusive to the box), but, as much as I actually like phobos, the upgrade sprue over the basic kit is mostly cosmetic in value, and a missed opportunity to make rievers decent in main 40k as well. Tactical marines are probably your best bet for a versatile blood/dark angels team, with intercessors second, the basic infiltrators team can also be kinda fun to play, if repetitive. Necrons don't have a special team, so just use the rules in the compendium. Eldar just had their special team released separately for pre-order. The corsair voidscarred; they're really cool models, and mix the aesthetics and weapons of both drukhari and craftworlds. Their rules can be found in the kill team nachmund book (also on pre-order). Various white dwarfs also have extra teams and rules. If you can get this month's (478), it has a compiled collection of the terrain rules from all the expansions, so will save you getting them if you want all the terrain traits. Hope this helps, and good luck getting into kill team 21, it's a great game system, and a lot of fun to play. (I'll also make a mandatory plug for my kill team cheat sheet, which contains a summary of all the core rules, weapon abilities and terrain traits, contained to four sides of A4. You can find here.)
