Uuuuuurrghhh.... its been tooooo looooong, I forgot how jealous I am of your precision green stuffing. epic chest work on the Maesteros and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with Varko. I've been doing a lot of green stuff reccently but a lot more organic, but I think soon I'll be taking my hand to some Inq28, and I feel like thats going to test me. This sort of "manufactured" green stuff I feel like is what I'm missing and a gap in my ability. Only one way to improve it I guess, glad to see your work is still as inspirational as ever.

Oh man these are awesome! I've just been into Augustus' thread and I forgot how much I love reading what you guys have been up to. I've been gone way too long. Ill have to have a proper comb through later but I'm already excited about trying to crack on with some of the Inq28 stuff me and a few locals are thinking about starting. I've been absent because I got a bit sour when my easy method for resizing photos to upload to Bolter stopped working, I'll have to figure something else out and upload some stuff into my dusty old threads. Man this stuff is so cool, Love the GSC guys and the Lord of Bones, so wicked -
Awesome. I've been away a while... Might be over 12 months now, but it's glad to come back and see reliable gold. These look stunning man, really really cool. We are thinking about starting Inq28 soon and so I might embark on some small characterful conversions soon. Really cool to see these for inspiration. Hopefully I'll find time to post anything I've done in my absence soon. Thanks for sharing!

Oh this is a great idea! I'm slowly starting my GSC (just the Aberrants so far) but I do have a load of spare cultists (I have 40 and I don't know if I can be bothered to do these other ones) so I think I might swell the ranks as much as I can with those. Thanks, looking forward to seeing your stuff.

Hey man the Traitor guard look awesome! I really like the style of the helmets to go along with the dank grossness. I think these are the most like how I was imagining the Chaos forces in the Gaunts Ghosts stories... The have a proper grimdark feel to them. The GUO has come along too! Looks brill an I'm excited to see more details develope. I really like the stretch marks around the little legs and how the look like they have clawed their way out. Epic work man. -
Hey buddy, I've been a bit absent from Bolter for January working on some stuff but it's nice to get back and see all the drinkers your dropping in the thread while I was away! Helverins looking wicked, nice work. Also interesting to see you putting some. Necromunda up! I've never played but I know Krakendoomcool used to, not sure if we are going to get into that but I know they have a great range. Love the work your going on these girls!

That is an inspiring haul man! It's really great how you can smash out not just so many minis but of such a high quality. I'm going to try and get more done this year but I don't expect to hit this kind of level of production. Amazing effort, looking forward to 2019's output.

Bigger? You need a good camera (high megapixle) I use my mother's borrowed SLR but I mean most phones these days have more than enough. It's all about the resolution right? If you blow it up with that it will look pixilated. Buy high resolution mean you can crop if you want and still have a big detailed photo. What's you're set up like Kraut, can we get a behind the scenes of your next shoot or will that destroy the magic?

Fantastic rhino buddy! That mount on the dozer blad is so good that it's making me laugh with excitement! I love the crackle in the paint to. Man, the colours are so cool, such a great contrast while ago not overpowering each other, something I feel like I need to master... Or grasp at all. I feel compelled to have to pull a "Columbo" and say "one more thing...". The little green skulls in the acoves on top. I can't make out that much detail on them compared to the rest of the the tank. Is that because they are a light source? I was wondering if either they could do with some more contrast if not or some OLS on the alcoves if so? Maybe it's just me though... I'll back out now bowing with subservience to your superior painting skills before someone thinks I'm getting too big for my boots!

I'm also enjoying the progress on these guys, the are a lot of fun, nice subtle conversions and fantastic colour scheme. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the bases. @Duskraider Lightbox?... Man, you should see my setup. It's a big pice of paper, clothes pegged to the back of a laptop screen, with two bits of white card leaning against it. To stop it curling up i have to sit my roll of sculpting tools on it. Everything I do is on so budget and shody XD. I really like everyone else's textured backgrounds and Kraut's props too. I just need to figure something out.

Cool, I also have this bit of terrain unfinished and until just now forgotten about! I think this year will be terrain year for me, finish all the stuff I've started. Looking forward to seeing this crashed lander all painted up!

Looks great man, as does the rest of the army, very nice shaarp details. How did you decide on the colour of the hammer? Does blue feature anywhere else in there army? Oh wait... I just remembered the lightenting claws on the other page XD
