  1. Considering that Termies got new multiparts kit while bikers are still ETB i put my bet in a refresh of DW and of some generic PA characters and sprues

I bought one to be my next big modelling project I don't play HH (no guy in my area interested) so i will paint It in DA post heresy green and i will decorate it with all the stuff i can gather from my RW bikes sprues and some FW resin DA icons too I like to build and paint those big warmachines i will never use in game cause i usually play at 1000 points due to lack of space and time
  3. Black Knights are always worth They are probably the Best RW unit In addition they un lock slot free RW apothecary, RW champion and RW ancient
  4. Sammael on RW units give the full reroll to hit, captain on bike only reroll of 1s

I do agree about DWK capable of taking objectives even without obsec cause they are able to annihilate almost all enemy Units from objectives I charged with 5 DWK supported by a TDA chaplain a large unit of genestealers with broodlord and they obliterated them in the first turn of melee having in return only two wounds (not enough to remove one) They are one of the hardest hitting SM units ever

Mathammer is the DEATH of the game If you Want you pkay a game based on math pkay chess 40K is a game made of passion hobby a narrative To reply to the first post 1) Yes there is the good old resin Terminator Chaplain plus two limited plastic ones 2) Yes. Out of them you can make: DKW, DWT, Apothecary, Ancient, DW Champion, DW Master, DW Strike master and so on even a Chaplain and a libreria through kitbashing 3) Yes. I converted many regular terminators this way (about 30) 4) I have many DW dreadnoughts and i never field my DW without one of my venerabile dreads (usually with twin lascannons to Hunt tanks) 5) many terminators ofc. To start i would get 2 DW boxes and 2 vanilla assault terminators boxes

I agree that for a RW detachment Sammael is really the best choice The biker captain is useful if you want to make a successor chapter and follow the "no special characters in successors" rule I bought a Sammael using the WH+ voucher because i had only a LS one and now i have to use it as a Talonmaster

  10. This is because GW uses d6 so the range of skills is limited by the dice they use
  11. I dont mind the stats I am a narrative player not a WAAC I want the new unit in regular 40k because they are too cool to be wasted in KT
  12. Quite possibly, but that just makes it more irritating that they know the Compendium is sub par and are already planning how to fix it. I dont think being able to mix Intercessors and Reivers/Incursors/whatever in a 5 man team is a 'low effort copy paste', it's not like it would make them remotely the same as, for example, 3 DG + 8 Poxwalkers...Yes that case is different, but for example going 3+2 intercessors would be about the same as DG. DG basically has two unit types as of now, marines have a boatload to choose from, with the downside that they have to be 5 of the same kind. I think both ways have their pros and cons. Were are the pros in the SM list? ;)You can choose a fireteam after the mission and the opponent is known, so it’s convenient to choose the one that suits those best… from a roster of 3-4 different ones… to stick with DG, it’s s either 5 marines or a marine poxwslker mix… Due to more options you can choose objectives that are more custom to your and your opponents fireteam If i will find some in my gaming friends interested to play new KT i think i will ho with the only good Astartes fireteamsTacticals Scouts Deathwatch I find all the primaris fireteams not good enough IMHO
