How do I ... hang on ... :D My favourites are the Twin Lance, which I re-posed so they mirror each other ... ... and the Magos-Familiar pair, where I got the skin just right!

Sneaky Weekend Vow complete!

I'll sneak in with a little last-minute weekend vow. I, TPS, heed the Call to Arms and vow to paint a Magus and his little familiar for five and a half point, for the glory of the Four-Armed Emperor and the Xenos, by the 15th of September.

Vow 2 complete! Those dwarves are a lot of fun to paint! Also, here's the plane seperately. I'm very happy how the freehands have turned out! Edit: since I'm in a plane painting mood and have some unpainted Aeldari planes for Aeronautica on my shelves: how many points would those go for? 3 each like their LI counterparts? Might do another little vow with them. :)

I think I can do another vow, since there's still about a month left. Let's see what disparate band of mercenaries I can recruit for the cause. Vow complete! Dwarven Space Explorers for fun and profit! Mechs ahoy, with some modifications. I re-posed the Twin Lance for more symmetry and gave the Crisis a bit more Zaku flavor. It's HUGE! (yes that's a kitchen cutting board I'm using as a base)

Today in the hobby I re-discovered my B+C account (turns out I CAN remember old passwords) and read the 11th edition core rules. Might be the best they've made in recent times, stuff feels way better ordered and well described than in previous editions.

Some work in progress. Making the Stormsurge stand up turned out to be easier than I had anticipated!

They've been invented by a certain T'ony St'ark and are especially useful for beating up big green angry targets. I realized the Hulkbuster had just the right amount of fingers for Tau and those big arm plates are excellent for attaching guns and shields to. These are 3d printed so I could scale them to the battlesuit.

Thanks! I have no idea what I vowed previously, because that was early 2022 I think. :D This month, I vow to paint this Stormsurge, because he's big and dumb and fun (he's also part of my Call to Arms vow).

I, TPS, heed the call to arms and pledge to paint my precarios pile of plastic, in the form of - 6 Stealth Battlesuits - 1 Ghostkeel - 1 Riptide - 1 Stormsurge - 2 Devilfish - 1 Skyray - 1 Commander Shadowsun - 2 Piranhas - 1 Fireblade + 1 Ethereal Martial Arts instructor - a handful of mixed drones for a total of 70 points, for the glory of the Tau'va and the Xenos Stronghold, by 30. of September, or bear the badge of shame until year's end. The Devilfish are rescues and need some repairs and repainting. Also, there seems to be a tyranid stuck in the engine. Ew!

I got various battlesuits and vehicles primed and ready. Also, I just stuck arms on a Stormsurge and am now very much looking forward to painting him. :D Where does the Taunar fit, points-wise?

Hey, so I've been gone for a while, had a lot going on when the forum moved and kinda forgot about it. Until 10th edition came around that is. Is it possible to jump back in here right in the middle of the year? Got a box of shame ready to be built and painted! :)
