  1. I prefer to use the 3D printed shoulder icons from Pop Goes The Monkey, but I got my Raptors decals from Chapter Customizer/Fallout Hobbies.
  2. Remember Bobby G kind of revised/threw away the old Codex Astartes, so those limits don't apply. Even the Ultamarines themselves have more than 10 companies now.
  3. They could as easily have made it like the Razorback - the parts that make it into a Razorback are interchangeable with a regular Rhino, some players have even magnetized the roof panel to switch back and forth. I'm sure, if they wanted to, they could have done it like that, perhaps even sold the turret sprue as an upgrade kit the way they did some of the Land Raider and Predator sprues.
  4. Even younger, probably. I'd bet twelve or 13. If you've managed to survive that long, you're either lucky or good.
  5. Sure, we have to imagine a lot - but if I'm playing against Marines, I'd "imagine" your assault troops should be represented by Marines, not Bloodletters. If it doesn't matter at all what the models are or what they look like, save yourself a ton of money and use wooden pawns or chess pieces or something.
  6. I can see what you're saying, but if immersion doesn't matter to you, then why not play with cardboard counters or wooden pawns? And let's just use books and paper towel tubes for terrain. If people are going to take the time to assemble and paint their units and terrain, it kind of shatters the illusion when you use something that's obviously and clearly nothing like what it is supposed to represent.
  7. I'm pretty sure that if they were "never meant to be in this game", they wouldn't be in this game. Again, this is a lament heard only from people who've never actually tried them or can't consider their limitations. If 125 is the new standard, don't you think it makes sense for any list to be able to generate a team that doesn't fall 20% short?
  8. It's probably not a glue joint for the head, as it swivels freely. I figured the parts I can't reach are likely parts that would be obscured anyhow, so I basecoated the whole thing and I'm painting what I can reach. I just need to do some highlighting and I'll be done.
  9. I was thinking of using Centurions in my Primaris Crimson Fists army anyhow, so we will have to wait and see.
  10. Alternatively, if you prefer the shoulders to be black too, as well as the emblem, put it on a white or yellow roundel.
  11. This is brilliant and you have my vote. Anyone who thinks an Allarus and 2 Custodians is "overpowered" in 125-point games is speaking purely theoretically and has never actually played with or against them. And Wardens would be a cool addition to the list - as it is, I'm planning to model some up for my Kill Team anyhow, even if I have to use them with the normal Custodian profile.
  12. Eleysium, your Crimson Fists look great, but I especially like the face plates on the Reivers. Great way to tie in with the Chapter's paint scheme and they still look fearsome.
  13. So more like a Primaris Centurion? :D I've always thought of Dreadknights as the "turducken" of powered armor.
