Here is number eight in a series of Pre-Heresy Traitor legion logos sheets you can use for your pre-heresy armies. I created the original logo in Adobe Illustrator, then made variations of it for size and color (outline and solid color versions). The sheet is designed for printout on Decal printer paper which is easily available online. The thing about decal paper is that it is clear by default (instead of white), so the decals need to be applied to a light colored surface to be visible at all. The procedure for applying the "outline only" decals is to apply them to a white surface, and wait till they are fully dried. Then using the outlines as a guide, paint in the darker color around the decal. Its is odd, but gets the job done. Size wise, the larger decals towards the top are best used for super heavies/terrain, and move down in size to the large array of Marine Shoulderpad towards the bottom. Finally there are large Roman numeral IIs all over the place. I use these to place on the opposite shoulderpad to indicate the Great Company number my forces are a part of. You could do that or use whatever you wanted on the opposite pad. In any case, enjoy and I wish you the best in using this set for your forces. -bigred

In celebration of the squadrons of Valkyries which are soon to be appearing on tabletops across the globe, BoLS proudly presents our over-sized Valkyrie logo sheet. As we gather together our flights of Valkyries, one of the most fun parts is designing the iconography for our air-cav. Here is a logo sheet providing a set of oversized logos designed for the wings of the Valkyries and the sides of the forward fuselage surrounding the aircrew. The sheet is designed for printout on Decal printer paper which is easily available online. These decals are designed for the WHITE or CLEAR decal paper. The procedure is as follows: WHITE PAPER: Use this paper for any of the colored logos that you plan to use against a non-white background. You will need to cut the logos out exactly, and can then apply them to any color background. They will completely cover any background color. CLEAR PAPER: Use this for any of the black logos. You do not need to cut them out right up to the edge. http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2007/07/tutorial-custom-decal-sheets.html Enjoy and have fun buzzing the enemies of the Emperor with your new Valkyries!

Its time for some love for the Traitors out there. I have a sneaky feeling that there are a lot of you guys out there who are planning to use the Imperial Guard codex to build all manner of rebel and traitor forces. Lets not forget about the Traitor Guard army lists to be found in the Siege of Vraks books as well. What we have here is a multi-icon sheet that gives you every option the budding traitor might need; from the Nurgle triple-skull, to the Genestealer Cult logo, to the old standby - the Chaos star. Go get em traitors! The sheet is designed for printout on decal printer paper which is easily available online. These decals are designed for the CLEAR decal paper. The procedure is as follows: CLEAR PAPER: If you use the clear decals, the decals need to be applied to a light to medium colored surface to be visible at all. Light tans and greys will work best. Custom Decal Tutorial This sheet is sized for superheavy vehicles up towards the top and scales down to infantry size at the very bottom. Please make sure you run off a test sheet first on your printer to make sure. In any case, enjoy and I wish you the best in using this set for your traitorous forces, you rebel scum!

This was originally a Star Phantoms logo sheet, but with the release of IA9/10, the Star Phantoms have an official emblem now. The Badab Series is complete! Here we have the mysterious Star Phantoms, with the winning logo and scheme by our own George Miller. These guys have a proud history in the 40k universe, being the chapter who took on Huron Blackheart in the siege of the Palace of Thorns before breaking the rebels and hounding them from the surface of Badab. The Star Phantoms also shot him in the face with a melta as a goodbye present! We had a great competition to come up with their paint scheme, and look forward to seeing some awesome pics of the chapter onthe tabletop in the upcoming campaign book. I have been noting (again) that GW does a great job of covering the major 1st Founding and select 2nd Founding chapters with their decal sheets. However, there are a number of great looking 2nd and later founding chapters who get a good amount of back-story and have great alternative uniform colors that never have had decals produced for them. In the interest of promoting diversity in the Marine community and encouraging players to branch out beyond the "big 4", I keep knocking out logo sheets for some of these other chapters who I think look great and have no GW decal support. The sheet is designed for printout on Decal printer paper which is easily available online. These decals are designed for the CLEAR or WHITE decal paper. The procedure is as follows: CLEAR PAPER: Just cout out the black logos, and apply them to any non-dark surface. WHITE PAPER: Cut out the decals with the blue edging and apply them to a matching blue surface. When they are fully dried, you can touch up any messed up edge detail with blue paint. Custom Decal Tutorial Size wise, the larger decals towards the top are best used for super heavies/terrain, and move down in size to the large array of Marine shoulderpads towards the bottom. I've included the standard Star Phantoms logo in black (which is really easy to apply) and a smaller number of white ones against a slate-blue field, for those wanting something special for your elite models and/or sergeants. There are versions of both types facing in opposite directions for those applying them to vehicles, so they can always face forward. In any case, enjoy and I wish you the best in using this set for your forces.

Ahhh, back to the 40th Millenia... Here we have the Soul Drinkers, a very popular request thanks to Ben Counter's 4-part novel series. These guys have apparently have gone from an Imperial Fist 2nd Founding heritage to Excommunicate Traitoris... Thats a tough road! The chapter has had some run-ins with the Loyalist Howling Griffons, and may have liasoned with Dark Eldar at some point. The procedure is as follows: CLEAR PAPER: If you use the clear decals for the black logos, the decals need to be applied to a light to medium colored surface to be visible at all. WHITE PAPER: Just cut out the decals with the purple edging and apply them to a matching purple surface. When they are fully dried, you can touch up any messed up edge detail with matching paint. Custom Decal Tutorial Size wise, the larger decals towards the top are best used for super heavies/terrain, and move down in size to the large array of Marine Shoulderpad towards the bottom. I've included the standard Soul Drinkers logo against a purple field, and small number of black ones for those wanting something special for your elite models and/or sergeants. In any case, enjoy and I wish you the best in using this set for your forces.

The Badab Series moves on... Here we have the Sons of Medusa. This logo sheet isn't the Pre-Heresy Death Guard, buts its mightly close. I have been noting (again) that GW does a great job of covering the major 1st Founding and select 2nd Founding chapters with their decal sheets. Then using the outlines as a guide, paint in the darker green color around the decal if needed. It is odd, but gets the job done. Custom Decal Tutorial Size wise, the larger decals towards the top are best used for super heavies/terrain, and move down in size to the large array of Marine Shoulderpad towards the bottom. The Badab Series moves on... Here we have the Red Scorpions. These guys have a long history in the 40k universe going back to Rogue Trader. The chapter not only took part in Badab, but are big players in both the Anphelion Project, and the Siege of Vraks. These guys have lots of cool Forgeworld stuff for them, so check em out. I have been noting (again) that GW does a great job of covering the major 1st Founding and select 2nd Founding chapters with their decal sheets. Though my guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire. -The Tyrant of Badab Watch out folks, because Huron Blackheart is coming your way. The story of the fall of the Astral Claws and their corruption into the Red Corsairs is one of the coolest "side shows" in the 40k universe. The Badab War has been with us since Rogue Trader, and these guys even have a cool paintscheme and their own named character and mini. Its time they got some love! You didn't hear it from me, but word on the street is you might be able to divine some patterns of interest by taking a close look at the logo sheet archive and putting two and two together (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)! Enjoy guys. We have been noting for a while that GW does a great job of covering the major Chaos Legions with their decal sheets. However, there are a number of great looking renegade chapters who get a good amount of back-story and have great alternative uniform colors that never have had decals produced for them. In the interest of promoting diversity in the Chaos Marine community and encouraging players to branch out beyond the Traitor Legions, I continue our line of logo sheets for some of these other chapters who I think look great and have no GW decal support. The sheet is designed for printout on decal printer paper which is easily available online. These decals are designed for the CLEAR decal paper. The procedure is as follows: CLEAR PAPER: If you use the clear decals, the decals need to be applied to a light colored surface to be visible at all. I have included the standard black chapter logo, as well a small amount of inverse white logos for folks who want some variants for something special. Please make sure you run off a test sheet first on your printer to make sure. In any case, enjoy and I wish you the best in using this set for your forces.

After going over the GW marine decal sheet, I realized the Raven Guard are missing. I created the original logo in Adobe Illustrator, then made variations of it for size and color (outline and solid color versions). The sheet is designed for printout on Decal printer paper which is easily available online. These decals are give you a bit of choice. I put a thick black edge around the logos , so you can use EITHER the clear or white decal paper for these. CLEAR PAPER: If you use the clear decals, the decals need to be applied to a light colored surface to be visible at all. The procedure for applying the "outline only" decals is to apply them to a white surface, and wait till they are fully dried. Then using the outlines as a guide, paint in the darker color around the decal. It is odd, but gets the job done. WHITE PAPER: If you use the white paper, you will have to cut the decals out carefully with the black border being the edge of the decal. Apply them to whatever surface you wish (it can be a dark surface). You may need some minor touch-up painting around the black edge to make sure the transition is smooth. Size wise, the larger decals towards the top are best used for super heavies/terrain, and move down in size to the large array of Marine Shoulderpad towards the bottom. The Badab Series moves on... Here we have the Raptors. These guys have changed their chapter sceme in recent days as seen in the Taros Campaign. Custom Decal Tutorial Size wise, the larger decals towards the top are best used for super heavies/terrain, and move down in size to the large array of Marine Shoulderpad towards the bottom. I've included the standard black Raptors logo, and small number of reversed ones for use on opposite shoulder pads or vehicles to keep the logo facing forward. In any case, enjoy and I wish you the best in using this set for your forces.
