  1. That's not the argument, though. If you try to be faithful to the lore developments then any plans for a Steel Legion project is affected by this. This isn't a doomer take for the sake of negativity. It's a legitimate concern that GW marketing gurus continue to strip away layers of this setting without a second thought. How does anyone benefit from a shrinking setting?
  2. Just because they addressed the elephant in the room doesn't mean that it's not a lousy excuse. Spew out some corpo-speak or even a vague it's a "future consideration but not currently planned." Instead we get nu lore that says oh yeah Steel Legion is now outnumbered by Cadians (dead planet btw) on their own homeworld lmao.
  3. It's almost 2026 and they still can't figure out how to make Phobos cool. SM2 is the blueprint....
  4. Well that's rad.
  5. Based off the first four they crushed it with these designs. If the rest of the squad follows suite I'll be stoked. A few braced on the ground firing poses would be a dream, and then the old squad on foot can basically be retired. I'm sure you'll be able to build them with their grav chutes off with some minor conversion work.
  6. Big fan of this one. Agree with the sentiment of the sword being too chunky. The overall weapon design aspect has been a miss on the new wave of Heresy characters, with the swords often being too large and flat out boring in characteristic.
  7. I can't believe I've been watching this for 50 minutes. This is just awful.
  8. I think the pose is the best part of this model. It encapsulates dynamic aggression and works as a snapshot in time of a stance mid-charge before delivering a blow. Do people really want more of the "Consul pose" with two feet planted looking like a soulless chess piece?
  9. Love Invicta, what a treat this is. While not perfect, it's so entertaining to see 40k presented as history.
  10. I went on a tear last week and bought a box of Kasrkin, Blooded, Shock Troops, and Jakhals. Just mortal things. Add it to the pile of grey.
  11. Love the use of the old 40k multi-meltas! They go together perfectly with the new mk 6 marines.
  12. Just want to chime in and say that everything you make really nails the aesthetic and feel of every Chapter! It's impressive to see so many cool schemes brought to life.
  13. Nice tone-setting! I don't know anything about the gaming mechanics of Warcry, but from a sandbox perspective this seems like it could be inspired by that to be a loose 40k version with very distinct Chaos Warbands vying for resources and power.
