HH 1.0 flashback: You had to pay (or not) for everything separate on the old unit entry so Refractor and Halo fields were not an automatic thing and it was your choice which was cheaper.. a shield or a power field... So the minis got modeled with them... Now it is kinda pointless.. Other than the few things mentioned.

IIRC, FW Resin Land Raider and Spartan horror stories mostly come from the time before the tracks were molded onto the side panels of the tank and you had to glue them on yourself and potentially have to cut links because of size issues. When I built my spartan, the longest and hardest part were those tracks I swear to god I almost threw it across the room before coming to my senses and realising what an expensive resin brick I was holding. Tracks are still loose on the Proteus kits. Wasnt a horrible fix but it did bring out the saws... DO NOT.. put the sponsons half on and try to put the gun and mount on later...
