  1. Derp, I didn't even think about there being more defenders inside the Engineerium... Is there any point in trying a bit of diplomacy? The dude is AdMech, could he still be loyal? Or are we out of time? Should we just kill them and carry on with the sabotage? Just checking I've understood correctly, GM - You said the IW ships are all headed for Phastus, and not towards us, right?

Chapter Trapping: The Marines Malevolent have a reputation for ‘repurposing’ wargear belonging to other Chapters. As such, a MM Character may select any available Chapter Trapping. However, should the character cross paths with Astartes of the Chapter that the Trapping belonged to (or worse yet, be assigned to a Kill-Team beside one of them!) it will undoubtedly have serious consequences, as determined by the GM. Examples could include negative mods to Fel-based tests, or even subtracting Cohesion Points from the squad.
  3. Awesome, so the garrison is going to blow regardless of what we do now? In that case, we just need to set the transport to explode too (maybe as Necro said, with a timer or trigger to try and catch at least one of the IW ships in the blast?) and then get the hell out of Dodge Phastus.
  4. Great idea! The only thing I'd say about Elvrit's suggestion to try and delay the IW is that it might be totally unnecessary? If BC says there is no way they will make it to the garrison before the bomb goes off, then we don't need to do anything and we are free to cut and run without any risk to us/our ship. However, if they might make it planetside in time, then I would say an attempt to distract and delay them (still without putting our ship at any real risk) would be worthwhile? So @Black Cohort: can the IW make it in time to stop the bomb, or not?

  6. I think the new set up might be better for drawing attention to PBP. The link to Clubs is almost at the top of the front page, and - as long as we are posting regularly - our Club will typically be at (or at least near) the top of that Clubs page. So I thInk the change could be an improvement to our visibility?

At their present rate of speed, will the Iron Warrior vessels reach the Phastus garrison in time to prevent its destruction? If the answer is yes, can we do anything to change it - to delay them or pull them away from the planet?+++ He smiled grimly. +++Maybe destroying their ally's scow will grab their attention? Failing that, give me a damn vox line and I'll send the filthy renegades a few choice words that will make them angry enough to chase us all the way back to Terra!+++
  8. Well, no great surprises there, then. (Edit: for clarity, I'm referring to the latest IC development) What does everyone think regarding options? Fighting is, I'm assuming, out? We're massively outnumbered, so... If there is time, do we take Hadrian back to the garrison to try and crack the secure part of the Armoury? Or do we blow up the transport, and leave the booby trap to blow up the garrison? (We won't have gained very much in terms of supplies by this option, but we will have denied those same supplies to the enemy, so in that sense its still a partial win?) I think all of the above depends on who is where, when the various ships will reach their destinations, and when the garrison bomb is set to go off, so we need answers before we can even start to plan?

  10. Set up an Archive 'forum' within the Club and moved stuff over (please let me know if I've missed anything anyone wants to keep?) I wasn't sure about Blackthorn/Swordhand? Obviously, it hasn't played in years and none of our Club Members are the GM... but there are several players involved in the game? Thoughts, anyone?
  11. Yep, I'll have to move all the Plunder threads over. Would it be worthwhile having a second Topics* type section (called Archive or whatever) for games that are complete or on hiatus? That would keep things out of the way of the games that are currently playing, but I'm pretty sure I could move them back over if they started up again? *if that is possible?
  12. I missed this point. Interestingly, because the HF is S/-/- and the HB is -/-/6, Ikka will get almost double the number of shooting Actions (75 vs 41.667) before needing to reload.

He gave the Techmarine a comradely nod and gestured towards the Engineerium. “Well, Brother-Adept, what would you suggest is the fastest way to scuttle this ugly, fat scow, so we can get back to raiding that garrison?”
  14. Excellent point, I've modded the table again to show 2 hoppers x 125 Rounds. I guess the advantage is that you could be swapping out the empty one while still able to fire from the second? It's an interesting thought, I don't think I've ever had it come up in a game, but would someone else have to swap out the empty hopper for you? I can't see how you could do it yourself? (Probably as Tro says, in fluff you'd have an ammo serf waiting somewhere ready to resupply you...)
