  1. I've posted several of my terminators before (in group shots with their squads), but hey, never did them solo before. Nothing to write home about though. My contributions are as follows: Sergeant with Storm Bolter and Power Sword: Terminators with twin lightning claws:
  2. Espada Azul

    Azul's Azure Blades

Uploads of models for my DIY Chapter the Azure Blade's images, as well as other odds and ends (mostly conversions). Many of those featured actually see use in my tabletop army list.
  3. My second Hellkite, FINALLY getting a picture taken of it: A comparison with the first Hellkite I made, my venerable Ironclad Brother Xand, and the new conversion. Also my mostly-finished (I say mostly, as I haven't hit it with matte varnish yet) Land Raider Crusader Eternum:
  4. Venerable Brother Xano, the First Champion Twin Typhoons
  5. I thought of this as well, but THEN I got the 'Nameless' Thunder Hammer relic, and it clearly states that the Force Commander was one of those called Renegade by Kyras. Evidence point to , as it's the only one that really matches up with what Tarkus said. As for what might be considered the canon ending, I think it's going to be a combination of the Imperial Guard and Blood Ravens campaigns, with a bit of the Eldar campaign thrown in (though it bugs me that it's Alaitoc this time around, instead of the expected Biel Tian).
  6. The last time we saw Dante without his Death mask, it was in the Blood Quest comic series, and in that he was shown as fairly young-looking, with long dark hair.
  7. Philip S.: While not directly connected to the Chapter compilation project, is it okay if I link the pages as a hobby resource on my blog?
  8. Hmm, very unorthodox in structure, with obvious nods to the Black Templar Codex (which I assume is how they would play on the tabletop). Not Codex followers, are they? Or rather they have a very radical interpretation of its tenets. Details from Imperial Armour 9 allude that most newer Chapters are founded first as a fleet-based Chapter, then they are sent on their way, wandering the stars until such a time as they finally claim a planet as a homeworld. It's different for a much older Chapter though (see the Novamarines entry).
  9. If you think an IA is complete, then by all means try to have it submitted for posting on the Librarium. If it gets accepted, good for you -- just be sure to send me a PM so I can add your Chapter to my 'to Add' list for the Galaxy Starmap update.
  10. Brother-Captain Janus Lawson of the Azure Blades 2nd Company. In other words, the guy in my signature. :tu: Counts as Cato Sicarius on the tabletop.
  11. Philip S: Actually, I just wanted a Marine image with for the DIY without the (inactive) camo robes, as it looks too busy for a simple Tactical Marine. Also, I'm not used to the warping functions in Photoshop, so I figured that the default DA winged sword used in the Space Marine painter could do. If you could do something about placing the symbol on the shoulder inset, that would be cool though.
  12. Phillip S: Better? I wanted to do something about the DA sword, but I use DA shoulderpads for my figures anyway, so it stays. Plus it's close to the Chapter Symbol too.
  13. Hey Phil, I need to ask if it's possible to use the image below for the Azure Blades, as the image used on the Project site isn't the 'current' Chapter colors. Yes, I realize that the active cameoline suit makes the Tactical Marine look goofy, but it's part of the kit a battle-brother of my DIY normally runs around with. If not, then use this one instead:
  14. I oh so love the unique takes to what constitutes a 'stealthy' Chapter, especially one from a gene-line with a predilection for stealth (the Raven Guard). The Sons of Dorn are a stubborn lot, but as we've seen with the Crimson Fists post-Rynn's World they can adapt if faced with the choice of survival over annihilation. I love the decidedly low-key choice of color scheme, perfect for a Chapter that seems to dislike being seen out in the open, or with allies. It's a more practical contrast to my own Chapter, the Azure Blades (borderlands rangers), and closer to the Shadow Warriors (compassionate hunters), minus the humanistic part. Decided on a place to situate your recruiting worlds yet, or are you going to be deliberately vague and just leave it as 'Somewhere in Segmentum such and such'? Grey Hunter Ydallir and I both have handy-dandy Galaxy Maps for reference if you intend to do the former.
