Frater… tis been many a moon while we transit the real worlds explorations of the Graduations of the youth from one phase to the next… life’s been wild and I’ve been holding my heart with one hand and a brush not very often. ive assembled and started painting on the majority of the Artemesian armor… picked up a few relics of time long oop (moar incoming soon) and relegated my winter to building up what will soon be the completed army…. For now I present the Leviathan Magnum Prima Materia…150 hours on the hallowed printing blocks… in exchange for painting a House Baratheon army. im going to replace the top turret with a macharius version, the side turrets with spare heavy bolters and the rocket launchers on top with some old school tarantula missle batteries. also going to coat it in some mr hobby surfacer to even out the print lines (nice work but they’re still there and it makes me a lil crazy) cheers

Ongoing project- been awhile… Found this dude on instagram the other night and really enjoyed what he’s got going on… then contemplated my bits box and razor saw and have come up with a homage. They work really well stylistically and aesthetically with my Artemesian cohort … so much so that I’m contemplating nixing the new cadians I picked up in lieu of just finding moar of these bits to finish out my force.

Airbrush issues abound but for some paints on afvs

The motor pool has been blessed with reinforcements. I’ve been collecting pieces for this army for the better part of a decade and have gotten piled in many other directions and painted a bunch of heresy armies. There are some pieces that I wish I still had (Atlas recovery vehicle/ Vulcan macharius and stormhammer come to mind) but the draw and idea for the Artemesian army group has been in the background, slowly growing and getting painted. Time marches on
