  1. I've found it's pot luck when you receive it, usually after you've received the item in question. The legal ambiguity comes in that you are apparently supposed to opt in to these things rather than out. Inertia selling is the term I think, which is illegal.
  2. Also be informed when subbing that Hachette will send you extras like art books and expect payment in addition to the sub cost, I've heard this is potentially an illegal practice but admit I don't know myself.
  3. I'm interested how Vanguard and Sternguard Veteran squads will be incorporated into the chapter organisation. Who knows, maybe they'll replace company vets?
  4. Yes the darkshroud did, it now gives a cover save too, forgot to add that in. Belial almost welcomes anything with precision allocating hits against him in combat..heres a mortal wound back 5/6 of the time. As Valorous Heart notes above, we don't get land speeder squadrons, which hurts a little, nor do normal RW get the inv. saves.
  5. Some interesting stuff, Darkshroud useful again now it gives Stealth, Monster and Vehicle hunting Black Knights and Asmodai potentially being useful by forcing battle shock tests against characters to name but 3.
  6. It looks as if battle shock is going to be more important to the game than first realised. Abikities are being realised that interact with it far more than id have thought. For example, the Tyranid Shadow in the Warp once per game ability that forces every enemy unit to take a BS test, in either the Nid or opponents command phase. This means Grim Resolve retaining that 1 OC if failed could win you the game, retaining that vital objective.
  7. We'd be looking at a queue system for the faq pages too.
  8. I reckon the watchers will provide a basic 6+ fnp, possibly 5+ with two of them??
  9. I'm hoping for a generic rule ala stubborn, along with something for DW and RW, perhaps a scout move for the latter as one has already been previewed on something else (I forget what).
  10. I have a doubles tournament the week after 10th is released. So far this preview has me thinking Autocannons, 20 person Cadian squads and Leman Russ Demolishers.
  11. With the preview of Codex Space Marines and tidbits gleaned from intro games at Warhammer Fest, I thought I'd see what you all thought DA will be getting in 10th edition rules wise. We're in a bit of a unique position in that we know we'll have a codex in Spring 2024, so I guess this is aimed at the free datasheets available at launch. I'd like to make educated guesses if possible. So far we have the Gladius Strike force, has anyone heard if none codex chapters will get one of their own at launch? Land Raiders are obviously going to appeal to those of us who run Deathwing forces, will we see any love for Deathwing themselves, especially after losing their transhuman buff right at the end of 9th. Leave your thoughts below brothers!
  12. I don't know if any of you follow Valraks rumours, but his source is indicating a DA range refresh similar to Templars. Do we think possibly new Deathwing terminators or an upgrade sprue, couple of characters and perhaps a new unit, possibly risen?
