  1. Superb Xenith - I love the colours and how they work with the main colour of your Marines! The weathering is brilliant too. Always so inspiring!
  2. All caught up: superb work TFK! I can’t wait to see them all arrayed together in due course.
  3. I think this is pretty important - my limited experience in a small sized game this edition basically meant it was one unit reacting against another unit directly, without having options. I’m looking forward to the potential of larger games for this reason!
  4. I’m glad we are all doing such thorough research . I realised the reason I’d overlooked Mobius near entirely was because of the allegiance and that very reason. I feel that definitely leads me down the Tyrants route, but that’s not a big issue!
  5. I’ve been painting plenty of rivets… definitely a degree of catharsis when you complete a whole pad without messing up .
  6. It’s very tempting, of course, to try this for research purposes… I’m currently thinking more about HL as my RoW over Mobius, but I’ll certainly give that a further look based on your suggestion.
  7. Superb as always Xenith, you keep knocking it out the park! Love the bases and the variation, you’ve settled on something great. What comes next?!
  8. I thought it was worth giving this a brief nudge to the top now the FAQ has provided clarity on this front. I’m wondering whether this changes your thoughts in relation to the RoW and whether you’d then utilise it in comparison to another? I thought it’d be interesting to hear from the collective.
  9. TITH, I drybrushed around 50 marine sized models, plus two characters, and ten Terminators - ready for the next stage!
  10. To report back after my first game, I have to say we kept settling on the phrase ‘ebb and flow’, because of how the reactions work. Heresy has been my main game for a number of years, but the nature of reactions really means you think through options and gives the chance for responses that add elements of risk to your own actions in a way I hadn’t fully appreciated until you’re actually on the table. I think it’ll be interesting as to how impactful that’ll be in larger games, but it has certainly got me excited to keep trying to think through and best utilise these in my battles to come. It’s also great to see so many people enjoying the Heresy setting and game that the new release has encouraged!
  11. Have finally got round to playing my first game of 2.0 - thoroughly enjoyed, and pleased to be getting to grips with the intricacies of this edition. Of course, my whole army for the game was basecoated, but I’m really excited to be cracking on and getting things painted… so, next steps begin tonight! Photos to come in due course.
  12. Superb work General Zodd! Have just caught up - love how this has come together as a cohesive force. Kudos!
  13. Just caught up on the last couple of weeks of work: superb everyone! I am presently about to make strides with my Alpha Legion so I can get them on the table… all very exciting and great to have so much Heresy inspiration in the thread.
