Brother Argent

Well it took a lot longer then hoped but finally got these guys done:

Aaaand that is my first Astartes Vow complete: Well after when I had hoped. But done none the less. Going to try to smash out my Xenos vow, then maybe sneak in a small vow for Astartes and Xenos again. Certainly not getting the speed I had hoped but still have painted more models in the last couple of months then the whole year before hand.

Okay, so life happened last month. Very close to complete on the terminators but not quire there so, for the month of August I will start with a vow of; 5x Terminators 1x Homer 1x Terminator Librarian 1x Terminator Chaplain For a before photo, see last month...

Well excuse the horride photo but my first vow is complete: I'll get better photos of the Typhus counts as at some point hopefully but for now I'm just trying to push on with things.

Well, finished the two Death Guard guys: Horrible photo but it will do for now. Now to push through some terminators. I've invested in some Vallejo paints to try to not need to mix paint for the orange armour.

Woo! A completed model for the Heresy. First time I have ever done that. I give you, Ahriman:

So I have finished Ahriman: Happy with how the red came out, considering it was entirely an experiment. For the rest of July I am going to attempt to get done: 1x counts as Typhus 1x Tallyman 1x Terminator Librarian 1x Terminator Chaplain 5x Terminators 1x Terminator Beacon. Steep goal but I've already made considerable progress with the Death Guard guys and, as you can tell from the photo above, I got a bit carried away and started the Termies before I remembred to take a photo. I actually completed Ahriman last week and made a start on the Death Guys then so... silly me for forgetting to vow to begin with. Anyway, off to do some eye blistering orange...

And Custodes done: Making progress on Ahriman but he is proving a bit of a drag. Probably as its a model I will likely never use. But still.... progress is progress.

Welp, its nothing compared to the vow above but I've completed my first vow: 4x Custodes and 1x Guard Officer: I'm running behind on where I wanted to be with all my other vows so no follow up vow... yet. But, Yay! A completion in under a month...

I've been attempting to get a vow up for the past couple of days but am running into technical issues with the site that is meaning I am unable to get an image up. Regardless I've been working on them but, I, Brother Argent, vow to complete 4x Custodes and 1x Pre-Heresy Ahriman for the month of July. I'll get an image up when I can. But oh how the Armageddon models are calling to me...

And my first completed unit of my vow, 6x Infernus marines of th Interdictors 9th Company. I hate Infernus marines.... But as an amusing side note, of the sixteen Inferus marines I have now painted, all have been done as part of a Call to Arms Now to tackle some Termies. But oh how the Armageddon box is calling...

Well its a miracle I know but I can actually show a completed model in the first few weeks of the event; one Catachan Colonel completed. Had heaps of fun painting her. A bit unhappy with the face, as things went a bit awry towards the end. But otherwise, thats one of five models done. Now to crack through some Custodes.

And done... I hate Infernus marines.....

Whoops... A day or two from month end and I forgot to vow here. I've been working on these guys for the Call for a couple of days and forgot to get them here so I better get the vow up. I, Brother Argent, vow to finish for the month of June: 6x Infernus Marines and 1x Sly Marbo Counts as:
