The Sabbat Worlds Crusade

I got an email from GW this morning saying that my order was on the way to Sweden, so it can take a while. -
That´s not completely correct. From Inferno: "like the other proto-Legions of the trefoil, the VI was largely held back from full engagement in armed conflict during the closing stages of the Unification Wars and the re-conquest of the solar system." "It was almost a decade after the Great Crusade had broken free from the confines of the Sol System and spread out to distant stars that the VI Legion was to be unleashed openly en masse against an enemy. What occured in the previous decade remains entirely lost, even to the Space Wolves" So the VI where not held back from action during the Unification Wars and the re-conquest of the solar system, they were just sparingly used. Same with the Great Crusade; the where not inactive during the first period, just that they were not deployed openly as a whole Legion before a decade in.

Extent of Terran legion participation in Unification Wars

It´s correct that no recorded of the VI remains, but that doesn't mean they where not deployed. Inferno states; "like the other proto-Legions of the trefoil, the VI was largely held back from full engagement in armed conflict during the closing stages of the Unification Wars and the re-conquest of the solar system." "It was almost a decade after the Great Crusade had broken free from the confines of the Sol System and spread out to distant stars that the VI Legion was to be unleashed openly en masse against an enemy. What occurred in the previous decade remains entirely lost , even to the Space Wolves" So the VI where not totally hold back from action during the Unification Wars and the re-conquest of the solar system, they where just sparingly used. Same with the Great Crusade; they where not inactive during the first period, just that they where not deployed openly as a whole Legion before a decade in. -
Listen to half of the book now and it is a really good story! Good blend of history flash backs and present day. A little nugget

Please, don´t give them any more ideas, its hard enough already to know whats what when everything is wolf-something

One of the really great things about how MOM is written is that we are not given an absolute answer one way of the other how the Emperor regards or feel about anyone! not even the custodians We only hear him speak through everyone’s own perception, he is everything to everyone. Even Ra questions if what the Emperor says and show him is the real deal or not. "When I speak to you, to others, am I speaking aloud? Does my mouth move and form the shapes of human language? Does a human voice emerge? Or is it merely how mortal minds process my presence and psychic will?" This means that we always have to filter what is said through the listeners expectations: - All custodies are mistrusting of the primarchs and space marines and blame them for all that is going down. In addition to their high regards of themselves as the Emperors companions it makes sense that they “hear” big E “speak” of everyone else as tools and of themselves as valuable assets and companions. - Land sees the Omnisia, logical, detached and without emotions. He "hears" a divine monotone Emperor without any feelings for his creations. - In the prologue when the Emperor speaks to Magnus he "hears" his name, not “nr. 15” as for example Land "hears". - As The Unseen writes the different primarchs sees him differently based on their own perspective, some perceive warmth and some not. If you don´t apply the filter, big E is just sounding like uncaring as-hole (and maybe that the truth. Who knows ) As such, MoM actually does not brakes with other lore, it just gives an more in depth picture how different people engages with the big E. Does this means he is the cuddly father figure to the primarchs? Hell no, every description from their POV describe him as distant and aloof to them also. Could he feel love for them? Why not, in so much a being such as the Emperor could. Does it means that he regards the custodes as his closes companions and confidantes? We don´t know but they regard them as such at least, and that´s what we "hear" from them

Yes, that´s probably the logical direction that they are working on. They are slowly bringing in grav-version of the classic vehicle pool so grav-bikes is hopefully not so far away -

I wanted to keep the full movement in the hip joint so I magnetized it like this. It is very secure and you need a little tug to separate them, so there is no risk for them to accidentally come apart. In the hip ball i cut down the top nipple a bit so it would fit when i put a magnet on top. In the hole I first put 2 3x1,5 mm N52 magnets and under them 2 8x2 mm In the torso i just glued 2 10x2 mm N52 magnets on top of the hole If you just want to have a flat joint between legs and torso it is much easier. I haven´t done it so I cant say what magnets that are recommended

I can only agree with the above. The stuff from Pop and other sellers on Shapeways that I have bought from has always been of good quality. If only the same could be said for another premium resin seller... -
A really good read. I personally would have loved a little more time dedicated to the build up. It felt like we where skimming the different actions to much. For me I would rather spend more time with fewer things then the opposite. The only thing that´s bring me out of it sometimes is the scale thing. The solar system feels a bit cramped in the book, when the distance between anything in reality is ridiculous large. I know that warhammer space battles are a copy of age of sails battles, but it would be really nice if the authors could convey the huge distances and 3D actions also Cant wait for the next one

A really good episode. I only wish they kept on talking for a couple of hours more
