  1. I'm quite surprised these haven't arrived yet given they'd only need to sort the turret. Maybe they took it on board with the complaints too much armour was coming out.
  2. Bring on the MkIV and Tartaros so I can theoretically break out of my hobby limbo. I know we've only had hints (characters, art, Tartaros originally not having fist options), but I'm so eager for my favourite marks to be rescaled.
  3. If you can pick it up from a third party retailer certainly! I've got the old Combat Patrol with the Ghostkeel, an extra Stealth Team (turns out my box idea wouldn't work, they've pulled the Stealths, presumably for the new ones coming out via Kill Team), at least another Strike Team kicking around and possibly a Pathfinder team (I've not actually hobbied in a while and I'm unsure if I like the current ruleset, still love the models though).
  4. I *MAY* pick up the T'au one as I don't have any of those kits at the moment although I would have personally included a standard Commander, probably dropped the Riptide for another Crisis Team (allowing a new player to field Codex legal teams) and included a Stealth Team to keep the Suit theme. I guess they don't want too many duplicates in the boxes though. I'm more of a Shadowsun person than Farsight but I've been told that in newer lore they have fought alongside each other (Can't have Ethereals though).
  5. Oh my... I'm liking the update to the T'au. The Stealth Tech has always been a big appeal to me of the faction but the XV-25s were lacking in 'character' (fitting perhaps) so this is nice. The Wolves, I do like them but wish it had been the Scout Carapace Armour. One of my favourite pieces of art is the Wolf Scout with Shotgun.
  6. I'd want MkVI to go back to 'not really around during the Heresy'.
  7. It's been interesting seeing people's responses. For myself, the bulk will be glorious Rescaled MkIV when it finally drops as it's my favourite Mark and as my headcanon is that my force does prefer a stealthier approach to warfare than some it makes sense. I don't love the MkVI proliferation, I know things got turned upside down but I'm still only intending on having maybe a Seeker Squad or so for 'Field Trials.' For Breachers, I'll probably be looking at MkIII as it makes sense. Then other Marks for flavour.
  8. Ahem, I think you're missing a 'pew'. Cool that it's here.
  9. By original you mean the dual lightning claw "come at me bro" one? I really liked that mini.
  10. I had it in my fluff that the Company I was collecting were big utilisers of Inter-Legion exchanges to learn from others (ironic given I'm sure I thought of that and then read about the Thousand Sons doing it, when I'm a Sixth player haha). So my group was more interested in forward elements such as Recon and would have a Cadre of say, Raven Guard attached for a time (obviously I could go against the archetype too, a White Scars Artillery force or something). Because I have a fondness for most of the Legions and gives me a chance to collect a little of each.
  11. Well my hobby mojo is almost non-existent without rescaled MkIV/Tartaros as well as kits in the current scale for Slayers. I MAY pick up one of those Combat Forces but I'd likely look at using the MkVI for Seekers (likely with third party bolters). Maybe the same with MkII, grab some third party axes and shields for Grey Slayers as I think the FW stuff will look too small on them.
  12. Interesting, particularly if they remain as a regular range item, even if not the exact same, you could work your way through SM armour marks for example but would need to redo the packaging so maybe not particularly cost efficient. I've not yet purchased any new scale infantry as the Age of Darkness box was too many MkVI for my tastes but a smaller amount I could be tempted by whilst I wait for MkIV to appear. And Rhinos are always handy.
  13. Same. And I hope that if they do take away fists etc with a new kit that they release a weapons kit sprue down the line with them. It wouldn't be the end of the world not being able to take fists and such but I would miss the option.
  14. Nice! Not got a copy of the book yet but seen the capacity of the ram is 16, do Terminators (barring Saturnine, which I imagine take up more space) still take up two slots? Because I seem to remember the Ram going to 10 but no Misericord rule so I think we were stuck with 5 Terminators at one one point.
