I had it in my fluff that the Company I was collecting were big utilisers of Inter-Legion exchanges to learn from others (ironic given I'm sure I thought of that and then read about the Thousand Sons doing it, when I'm a Sixth player haha). So my group was more interested in forward elements such as Recon and would have a Cadre of say, Raven Guard attached for a time (obviously I could go against the archetype too, a White Scars Artillery force or something). Because I have a fondness for most of the Legions and gives me a chance to collect a little of each.

Well my hobby mojo is almost non-existent without rescaled MkIV/Tartaros as well as kits in the current scale for Slayers. I MAY pick up one of those Combat Forces but I'd likely look at using the MkVI for Seekers (likely with third party bolters). Maybe the same with MkII, grab some third party axes and shields for Grey Slayers as I think the FW stuff will look too small on them.

Interesting, particularly if they remain as a regular range item, even if not the exact same, you could work your way through SM armour marks for example but would need to redo the packaging so maybe not particularly cost efficient. I've not yet purchased any new scale infantry as the Age of Darkness box was too many MkVI for my tastes but a smaller amount I could be tempted by whilst I wait for MkIV to appear. And Rhinos are always handy.

Same. And I hope that if they do take away fists etc with a new kit that they release a weapons kit sprue down the line with them. It wouldn't be the end of the world not being able to take fists and such but I would miss the option.

Nice! Not got a copy of the book yet but seen the capacity of the ram is 16, do Terminators (barring Saturnine, which I imagine take up more space) still take up two slots? Because I seem to remember the Ram going to 10 but no Misericord rule so I think we were stuck with 5 Terminators at one one point.

Here's hoping too. Although they could always release a weapon pack (which may well be the plan down the line anyway).

I think personally I'd want to lean into XV8s and complement the Combat Patrol (admittedly the Commander is a duplicate but you could build it alternately and part of me feels these boxes should have a HQ?) Commander Stealth Team 2 x XV8 Leaves about £40 shy of the previous Christmas box, unsure what else I'd add.

I'm sure we'll get both at some point, it's a case of when. I'm not a massive fan of the other Marks but I'd like a few of each. I think I prefer the II to the III though. I'm hoping it's not too long as I'd love to dive in again.

Intriguing. I think I must have about 7 or 8 tucked away but it does seem an odd thing to have two kits for. And well, the changes to composition. Maybe we'll see something pop up shenanigans-wise in a journal.

Huzzah! Although this does now raise the question as to whether a new kit is near.

Thank you. There goes my hope that Tartaros Command Squads at least would get access to fists and hammers (even if it meant an upgrade sprue for the suspected new kit), at least for now. I wanted to be able to take a wide range of weapons on my Command Squad. I suppose they could launch an upgrade kit still down the line with rules in either a journal or PDF (I know we're getting the Legacy Tartaros).

This is exactly why I was planning on a Moritat with a Hand Flamer and then maybe a Plasma Pistol (despite I believe not being able to use a Hand Flamer in 2.0 if using the Chain Fire rule, even for a single shot) as the character's idea was that of an Arsonist. It just seemed cool to me to pair him up with some Destroyer 'Vandals'. Safe to say, I'm not a big fan of fixed wargear for Counsels.

As someone whose favourite Mark of Terminator Armour is the Tartaros, little disappointed. I get they'll still have the options in the Legacy PDF but I was excited to see upscaled Tartaros with a full array of weapons (Power Fists, Combis, Thunder Hammers etc), even if they were sold as upgrade kits (still possible down the line I suppose). I haven't even really hobbied since 2.0 because I was hoping for rescaled MkIV and Tartaros as they're my favourites and what I want the bulk of my stuff to be.

That's sad as I really wanted one with a Hand Flamer with a squad of Destroyers (I know they couldn't chain-fire a hand flamer in 2nd but I liked the image of him being an Arsonist leading a bunch of vandals).
