September 2026 - Price Rises

This has somehow convinced me to pick up another Maximus box and a melee weapons box. I'll likely never need to buy a normal Sicaran or Contemptor again. Now give me some official Grey Slayers upgrades GW, please? -
Interesting. I'm glad I picked up a couple of Mars pattern Predators and a Phobos Land Raider a fair while back for my Heresy projects (my fluff was that they were easier to produce and therefore were in-theatre replacements). Does feel somewhat end of an era but with the possibility of the Scouring, Badab etc we could see some cool stuff like Castaferrum Dreads get updated.

I'd care from a model support point given I don't have a printer and we're still waiting for stuff to finish off the Legions. But I likely won't be gaming any time soon anyway. Maybe I'll finally be ready for fourth, where hopefully they go back to something like the FOC and Rites of War. -

Interestingly I've been looking at the pay for new employees at my place recently. When I joined in 2009 the entry level pay was £6.05 and hour. I worked for 11 months and left for a month, coming back to £5.50 an hour as the company had introduced an 18-21 pay band (this has since been removed). A new starter today gets £12.81 an hour, which feels generous (especially as they now get perks that were previously only for Managers too) but maybe it's the 'frog in pan of water' thing where I've not noticed my costs going up as much because it's been done incrementally along with the wages. -

These look glorious! Particularly like the tattoos. Definitely saving for inspiration for when I make a start on my stuff.

Well I'm biased as it's my favourite armour mark. But I think they've done a great job, I'm looking forward to assembling mine and getting some paint (and for someone to produce the previous MkIV style jump pack as a purchaseable item as opposed to an STL because I'm not getting into printing myself just yet haha).

Oh no, I feel your pain. I've just plundered Bitzbox for a bunch of 40K Space Wolves heads and things to add some flavour to my Sixth. I'm not planning on going all in like the 5th Ed SW kits, I always diluted a box of that with a couple of normal Marine boxes so I don't plan on going over the top. As an aside (they had none in stock so didn't order), does anyone know if the SW Terminator bare heads would fit in the new Cataphractii bodies without looking ridiculous? Wondering if anyone's bashed Indomitus Termies and Cataphractii.

I've procrastinated two editions already... Well I was making headway in first, then they released upscaled Marines and I then wanted to wait until MkIV. Now I'm gearing up, need to order some bits to Sixth the stuff I have up, bases and then I can look at breaking out the clippers. -

I guess maybe they're still working on one and will release rules in a journal when they finally get the model out? They did say they were planning on doing another sculpture of each of the Primarchs years ago to represent them elsewhere in the Heresy and it makes sense for him to be on his bike. -

That's what I get for not having the actual books yet. Disappointing for the Scars. *Sad jetbike noises* -

C'mon Seekers/Recon/Tartaros/Missing Cataphractii weapons/Khan on bike. And to be even more selfish, updated Grey Slayer kit (and any other Legions that have unique Troops stuff going on, Legion Elites would be nice too but I want to work on the bulk of my force right now). -

HH3: How to equip Grey Slayers
Hfran Morkai replied to barek's topic in + WARHAMMER: THE HORUS HERESY +
I'm thinking a more aggressive unit with shields and some Power Weapons thrown in (4 on Slayers and then the Huscarl, possibly too much for a 10 man unit) and then more of a supporting unit with Bolters and axe with just something flavourful on the Huscarl.
