  1. Pretty sure the delay is because they can’t figure out how to fix GK without adding new units, and new units require a 1-2 year production cycle. If FW were to boost GK in their books without coordinating with a GW release, they will be back their old inconsistency issue, which will lead to more customer dissatisfaction emails. These delays just highlight the poor job GW put into launching 8th, given they used an outside and biased play testing group rather than their own internal unbiased group. They are in the crosshairs right now, and inaction is just as bad as another failed action. Chances are GW is planning on a new release for GK, they are just too far back on the production to risk releasing a stopgap or a teaser. SJ
  2. No Chapter Approved so far, no reason to think Talons is on the immediate horizon either. Whatever GW has planned for GK, it’s either no ready or not happening. SJ
  3. There are a number of modern militaries that use specialized camouflage as their ceremonial dress uniforms, so it’s not unheard of. SJ
  4. From a lore standpoint, the Knight Houses of Ryza would have rust colored Knights just like the Ryza Skitarii, which matches the color of the rust dunes of Ryza. That’s enough of a presedent to justify camouflage for other worlds. SJ
  5. Knight Houses tend to prefer their own livery, so they paint their Knights to represent. Freeblades can do whatever they want. But always remember that “tend” does not mean “always”. A House that excels at guerrilla warfare might eschew livery for camouflage, just like well known Chapters did in the Badab War. Also, the best camouflage for anything size of Knights is geometric pattern that brake up the Knight’s silhouette. SJ
  6. Tau are a remenate if Nercotyr, that did not convert to Necrons. It’s their hidden secret. SJ
  7. 4th and 5th Spheres are just DIY Septs, so you can pick and choose your tenets without worrying about Sept colors. SJ
  8. Pretty sure Warhammer 20k was already published years ago, under the title “Dune”. SJ
  9. In 40k, a Lightsaber is a Power Sword. That said, yes, GW has no idea how weapons work in real life, and definitely not the physics of energy transfer. Hammers should defeat armor, especially given the explosion energy transfer described for the Thunder Hammer. SJ
  10. These just need to be cheap enough to fill in so IK can run a decent army. SJ
  11. Sargent Centurius has been a LotD character since 2e. SJ ...which I still regret not purchasing at the time. I think I was too busy saving my pocket money for another model. I forget what though.I missed out on getting him, too. So I converted one for my LotD army back in 2e. SJ
  12. I’m going to swap the chainblade for a Thunderfist Gauntlet, replace the weapon arm with a “Shock Lance”, and paint it up to look like a warhorse in barding. Because eff it, that’d look cool. SJ
  13. Sargent Centurius has been a LotD character since 2e. SJ
  14. You can still do that. Use Raven Guard for the Primaris, and add a detachment of LotD. The uniformed look will add to the pleasure of the game. SJ
