I would say price you pay as I have not paid full price for a GW product (or any for that matter) in the last 10 yrs (I always buy second hand). Also welcome Grotsmasha. Thank you for also helping out with the event I am curious, what everyone working/planning on for this year? I plan on finishing a necron army, Nova Cats (Battletech), and a Fantasy army (thinking a pure squig gloomspite or sylvaneth army as they are assemble).

I had a few conversation with my hobby friends, and they suggested something similar as to your approach. At this time, I have split up the newer plastic for the DG and AL. I plan on doing some test models and see how it goes. I place the Admech/knights, and shatter legion in reserve to review for later. The rest are in the selling room with more projects going on the chopping block. It has been going slowly due to the holiday, but movement is occurring.

On the topic of the Mutalith, it became a boss enemy in Space marine two a few months ago. So that is probably why it is included (also nice to see). On the topics of the box, glad they exist but I am not the target here as I have enough for all four cult armies.

Not wanting to start a new thread as this relate to this topic, when did the Mars pattern Rhino (and other mars vehicles) start production, and when did the Rhino APC Deimos pattern start getting replace?

I am in the process determining which army project will be started for 2026. I had a small necron force for awhile, that I discovered a color scheme for (see below). The issue I have is figuring out how I will base them? Does anyone have any ideas for a simple basing scheme that goes with the force? Thank you and take care. For myself I got the following (I get a lot around this time, because of the discounts): 6 Saturnine Terminators and MK2 Centurion for 60 USD Warriors of Chaos: Chaos Marauders Army Reinforcement Set for 153 USD Battletech Aces and holiday ornaments for 70 USD Snord irregular assault lance for 23 USD Battletech Shrapnel 23 for 14 USD x4 Battletech Display stands for 120 USD Finally, I got a new printer / scanner for my business.

They butchered my favorite character in Warhammer 40k. I am so disappointed. I pray to the dark gods, there is a helmet / different heads (which is unlikely due to lore) like Abdadon has. Fine, I will have to fix it myself. Either I will use a few of my older huron models (GW and Forgeworld), chop up, and sculpt what I want. OR I will make something on blender and give it away for free. The pose need works too. At least Hamadrya looks great.

In my recent quest of downsizing, I realize I have a bit of Admech and knights models (see below). My question is how much do the forces share choices? Do the forces mix more in HH or are they separate like they are 40k? I love Wargame atlantic. Great product, great price, and they assemble like models back in 4th ed. I can not recommend then enough, and there games are great (baron war in particular).

Out of the Red Hobby Event 2026 Disclaimer: Never take investment advice from strangers on the internet, especially people who like Chaos. You own your Hobby; don't let the Hobby own you. Hobbies (in this case miniature tabletop wargames) are meant to be enjoyable time for those that particulate. From gaming, painting, or reading lore, I have seen many in our hobby suffer mentally and physically due to overspending on the Hobby, and our current economic times. To solve this, I will be running an event starting 2026 called “Out of the Red”. The mission is to gain financial control over our hobbies and our lives. Our enemy is our Piles of Shame. Guidelines: Estimate your annual budget, which is your take home pay minus your expenses. Please do NOT post your income, that is not the point of the event and a private matter for the hobbyist. We don't need to know, only you need to know. Do you have debts or an emergency fund? Consider those as you determine your annual budget. Within your annual budget, audit your Hobby budget for the year. A common suggestion is to spend 5% to 10% (others say 20%) of your take home pay on fun purchases. These could be models, books, video games, paint, terrain, rules, etc. OR maybe you pick up other hobbies beside Tabletop wargames. Keep in mind the 500 Worlds campaign and 11th ed 40k are coming. This is decided by each individual. Decide on your target percentage and monthly budget. This is the total amount you will spend on models and supplies (or save for a later purchase, other fun activities, or invest) this month. Post your pledge amount for the month. This could be a saving, new models you bought / or painted, supplies, decal, terrain, a new book (please leave your thoughts after reading), Warhammer video game, or other hobbies accessories. You can post multiple post a month but make sure your within budget. Leftover funds can be saved for other months, saved for other purposes, or invest. Reflect on you purchase. Did you finish the project? Did you use what you bought? Did it bring you happiness or dread? Tell us at the end of the month. At the end of the year 2026, re-audit your budget and post your results. Did you follow your budget? Did you go back and work on your back log? Did you sell unwanted or old projects to fund new projects? Post what you purchase, painted, saved, or invested.
