Time for July 2026 Hobby purchases rundown (I am super late on this because of life). Let see how this goes. July 2026 Spending: (-) 381.60 USD 10.34 USD Natural Coconut Husk Fiber for armegeddon bases. 15 USD for old Haemoculus coven codex 5 USD Metal Spatula Kit for basing 229.76 USD for Ogor Mawtribe army set (The refresh looks great) $31.50 USD for Spare Parts Emporium: Dead Animal Bits by Wargames Atlantic (need for new ogor project) 90 USD for Halo: Flashpoint Rise of the Banished Box Set (getting back into halo due to new zeta halo release, fun game aswell). Sold nothing (because of the below). Total after taxes, fees and shipping was +0 USD. Total: - 381.60 (Budget goal: -$250). I always wanted an ogor army, and it was the prefect time to start. The other good news, I have received a job offer in an area I been looking to relocate for years and will be moving next month. This has caused lot of issues and the hobby time went to nothing. Due to moving into a studio apartment (to save money), my hobby space will be near zero. Trying to figure out if it is even worth bringing any of my projects or just go cold turkey for a few years. Thoughts? Overall not too bad. Life keep moving.

Time for June 2026 Hobby purchases rundown (Where has the time gone?). Let see how this goes. May 2026 Spending: (-) 171 USD 21 USD for Baron lords Foot Knight Command. Nice little kit. 150 USD for Armageddon space marine half, bits, 7 intercessor, 3 eliminator, and 10 hellblaster. A friend of mine has "convinced" me to try out painting a primarsis force (which matches my existing collection). If I do, they will give me the 150 USD back. Currently debating on a chapter. Sold a lot of different books, armies, and some downsizing of armies. Total after taxes, fees and shipping was +3789.95 USD. I continue to de-cluttering and selling. At this rate, I should be done within the next few months. Money was moved into investment. Total: +3,618.95 (Budget goal: -$250) Overall not too bad. Life keep moving.

Armageddon: the Ork 'alf
Uprising replied to Lord Marshal's topic in + NEWS, RUMORS, AND BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS +
From what I am seeing on the 2nd hand market is that the ork side is going for around 120 USD, while the marines are going for around 150 USD. The box set itself is going for 250 USD at the lowest. Let see what happens on the 20th. -

Time for May 2026 Hobby purchases rundown. Let see how this goes. May 2026 Spending: (-) 100 USD I spend almost nothing this month. A friend was getting out of the GW hobby sphere, and I picked up 15 leviathan terminator, 2 leviathan terminator captain, and 1 leviathan terminator librarian. I wanted to grab these before the start of the new edition. Sold half of City of Ash for a total after taxes, fees and shipping was +89 USD. I have resume the de-cluttering and selling at the start of this month. let see how it goes. Total: -$11 (Budget goal: -$250) Overall not too bad. With the time off, I actually started painting and building some models. With call to arm event coming up, I might actually get some 40k painting done. Keep up the good work everyone.

Time for April 2026 Hobby purchases rundown. Let see how this goes. April 2026 Spending: (-) 773.94 USD I spend a lot this month. It was a mix of paint (trying out army painter), mostly Battletech (decal, books, some mech / battle armour, a force for my friend, and pre-ordering new core products), and shipping / add ons for the two recent kickstarter/gamefound. Only GW product was City of Ash (selling half). I put selling on hold due to busy season (average work week is 80 to 90 hrs) with my three jobs in April. Total after taxes, fees and shipping was +0 USD. Total: -$773.94 (Budget goal: -$250) Over budget, but was planned. Now, the issue is (and a side tangent), I lost three jobs this month. Two was excepted (tax season did just end, so a lay off was expected), but the non tax related job, basically pushed me out (I saw it coming for a few months). Luckily, got a few interviews already, and have a good emergency fund for times like this (another reason why I started this event as a teaching adventure for others). With the free time I actually started painting again. Currently in progress of downsizing my projects from 42, to 15, so I can focus on what matters. Overall, a bleak month, but things are moving forward. My future updates are going to be much more boring (I hope) and no more spending will occur. So a question to the reader, I was thinking of painting up some necron or tyranids. What would you lot like to see?

Simple Opinion Poll- current project at a standoff
Uprising replied to Bonehead's topic in + ARTISANS' WORKSHOP +
I voted blue lenses, as I think it looks and painted better, but overall red lenses ties better with the theme (cultist of khorne), and the current basing. Just my 2 cents. -
Welcome aboard Concord. Pictures of projects are welcome.

Not going to lie here, I wish this was real. This would be fun to watch.

During the Scouring era the following traitor are basically the same or close to there 40k counterpart: EC, WE, DG, WB, NL, Fallen, and AL (Yes, Maybe, No, ?) Those that will need more time to change into there 40k form would be: BL (still SOH at the time), IW (conflicted on this one), and the Thousands Sons (The Rubric of Ahriman did not occur until after they got into the eye of terror).
