  1. I am not, but I am getting back into the hobby after a 10 year break. I am trying to build my squads to be compliant with the changes. That said I do not know what "special weapons" counts as. Back in the day each Grey Hunters squad could carry at least one flamer/melta/plasma weapon. This is the smaller rifle type plasma/melta of course. My main question is whether or not that is still applicable. In time I will by the SM Codex. For now I am just trying to build a new Army. Thanks in advance.
  2. So under the Grey Hunters Data Sheet in the 9th Edition Codex it says that for every 5 models a weapon can be chosen from the Special Weapons list. I checked online and someone said to look to page 75 but thats the Data Sheet for The Hounds of Morkai. So where is this Special Weapons list? Any assistance would be most helpful. Thanks in advance
  3. So do the HoM get assigned to each company or are they detached? How many Packs of these wolves go to each company on average? Or are they held with Logan's GC and assigned out as needed/requested? Oh and what color are they supposed to be based as since its a Darker Grey..... Have a wolfy day. PS..... I did search to see if this question had already be presented and came up empty. If this is not the case just add it to the related topic, please and thank you.
  4. Hold on, I thought Rhinos could only carry 10, great for Grey Hunters. I myself love to bring a razorback with twin las' to back up my Long Fangs (space for up to six), Land Raiders is usually 10 or 12, 12 for Redeemers and 15 for Crusaders. I like to pack Blood Claws into a Crusader and go that route. Or rather I usta back in 5th edition. We will see what happens with the new rules set.
  5. Yeah, thats gotta be in error.... If anything since they are actually fully vet'd Space Marines they should have as many as the standard Marines. Not the up and comers.
  6. I remember the 10 packs of Grey Hunters. Don't seem to recall twelve though..... Interesting. Certainly gives me some room for thought there though.
  7. Thanks all. That really helps me out. One more question. 9th Edition Codex did not have a datasheet for Wolf Scouts but it does mention them. Are they still considered active? Thanks again.
  8. I seem to recall, but can't for the life of me remember where; that Ragnar Blackmane's Great Company is supposed to have an unusually large number of Grey Hunter packs. If I remember my fluff it says that it is rather ironic that this is the case as Ragnar was NEVER a Grey Hunter! My old brain has somehow fixed this number at 10 packs of Grey Hunters but I am curious if this is even partially close to correct or if I am wrong where I can locate the correct information. Thanks all.
