    I think the exhibit A for balancing of bling is the Space Wolves. Their 5th edition stab on them had them try almost everything on every level of infantry. Their refresh still keeps almost all the 5th edition elements but it escalates up the wolf bling In intensity as they ascend the ranks from troops to elites to hqs.

    To think Space Marines didn't get new units ignoring the pile of model releases that came out in between the gaps. Like, Titus, his crew, Calgar, new honour guard wasn't too long ago. Not that I'm complaining, Space Marine supremacy benefits me, sucks to be you!

    Isn't a lightning claw just a power weapon? Wouldn't be too hard to swap one in, the Blood Claws box even has a classic one.

    It's fine. They didn't oversell him and didn't undersell him either. He's appropriately sold. He'll look great leading a unit of outriders with a chaplain with that cape billowing.

    Seems like they could have been more aggressive with the Proxy rules. Predators as gladiators, Centurions as Aggressors, etc.

    i like those multipart vanguard much more. Shields and some axes spliced in adds a lot.

    Bjorn will be upscaled to receptor scale and will become an objectively better model. I say someone who has painted and kitbashed Bjorn a billion times. As soon as standard dreads got bigger, he needed to get bigger. He needs to stand out. Oldhammer Nostalgia is no reason to avoid this.

    I appreciate in this economy them dropping mixed characters from multiple factions instead of many characters from one faction. I can justify one figure a month.

    well, that was frowned upon at the time, if you were opening the free material and they were factions we were working on (and we almost were always working on Space Marines) then they had to stay at the office. but the reality is my cut bashes were sloppy, ruined the minis, and weren't helping anyone and I didn't want to see them through so~
