Im not sure I share your definition of ‘tower over’. They’re also not that far off the height of a MkVI at the head, they’re mostly just a lot bulkier. Either way, even if the new heresy Termis don’t go as big as the Indomitus, they should definitely be a bit bigger to be more in line with the newer plastic marines.

The only real reason to update the kits is to make them bigger. The Indomitus termis are perfect size wise imo.

Power Weapon is your power axe, sword, maul, spear. Power fist and chainfist are in the Legion Terminator Melee Weapon list that the Cata have access to.

I wouldn’t bother, people have convinced themselves they wrote the whole PDF in the last 4 days despite them always saying it was coming and the fact that last edition also had a hefty Legacies pdf. At the most, I think they’ve maybe added back wargear options. Any units I’m betting were always gonna be here.

Legacy in 30k is a bit different to 40k legends stuff. For a start nothing in the last edition got an FAQ so there was no gap there, and they were basically universally accepted by the community. I don’t think I ever saw an event that didn’t allow them. Even GW have specifically said that legacy units will be allowed in their events in 3.0. Functionally there isn’t really any difference between legacy and core units as far as I’m concerned/aware. It’s just all really odd to me, it would have been worse but at least made more sense to me if ALL options went but it’s like they’re restricting options to models in some cases (mainly legion specific stuff and consuls) but opening more options in others (kitbash units in the journals and stuff).
