  1. Yeah character boxes don’t have that (unfortunately…)
  2. People have also been asking for rescaled terminators since 2nd edition though. Whatever order they do stuff in is never gonna make everyone happy.
  3. I disagree about how good the existing plastic set is tbh. I never particularly loved it because it was quite a detail downgrade from the resin when it first came out, and I don’t think it’s aged that well. They’ve seemed pretty small and under detailed since the MkVI kit came out. It’s also 10 years old now, it’s no spring chicken.
  4. There’s a Veteran Breacher squad in the legacies that has those options
  5. I don’t know why the pattern being damage or not makes any difference to the suit being salvaged. When I say salvaged, I mean it was rescued from the battlefield, and then repaired and integrated into the two survivor suits. The pattern is clearly decoration, as if from one more highly decorated suit, for example that of a commanders… The drones could have been recoloured to match easily enough. It’s not explicitly said but I think it’s implied by the models and is a really nice bit of implicit storytelling in the models. We’ve barely got any lore on them either way, it’ll be interesting to see what’s said about them when they come out.
  6. A big part of the lore that we’ve been given so far is the fact that they were a trio, and their fighting style evolved from the loss of said third Tau. Which is why I think the salvaged suit is certainly strongly implied, whether they explicitly said so or not.
  7. I didn’t even click they were plastic when I first read the article, that’s sick. The doctor is really cool. I also am surprised/confused why they didn’t show these at the Necromunda preview section 2 days ago, but never mind.
  8. Exactly that yeah. The Sept colour remains constant, the main armour colour is operationally dependant (camouflage, ceremonial, etc). Of course in practice people generally stick to the normal way they’re presented (ochre and white, white and red, etc). That always was the case anyway, I’m assuming nothings changed more recently.
  9. I was adding up the points of these the other day on the apps and I think 40k points are mental currently. All 4 AoS boxes are ~1000 points, the Krieg one is 445 points. Also ‘fun’ fact, Farsight is 85 points, the cheapest Skaven engineer in AoS is 90 points.
  10. I’m pretty sure the unbalanced paintjob shows them splitting the dead commanders suit between them once they were killed. The blue parts all have the same fancier design than the plainer white parts.
