  1. I am disappointed that it will be priced approx. 130 CAD. The thing to look forward at this point is what the rules will be. Definite cash grab by GW. q. So based on what is written on Warcom, is this a GW exclusive?
  2. I would be interested to know what the rules will be like for a game like this. I never played the video game. Q. What tyoe of game is dark tide for those who played it?
  3. It seems like a relaxing game to play. Hopefullly there is a demo version before purchase.
  4. CAD website has been updated to show 180. I used inflation calculator and it would be approx 120 cad using $80 msrp in 2004. The set is above my price point.
  5. I am surprised as well that it came out. I wonder if GW staff is sleuthing through B&C forums. Haha j/k
  6. I am surprised this came out. It appears to be like the 3rd edition MTO starter box. No rules in it at all. I would be interested in this, but it depends on pricee like others have said. I already have all the firstborn marines i could want. :)
  7. I think of the same way. There has barely been any activity in my area with regards to underworlds yet LGS sells them. I dont play often, but the models are unique, easy to build being push fit, and i can concentrate more on painting the models. Underworlds was fun in beginning. For the OP, in regards of evangelizing TCG players, have you seen/played the warhammer 40000 commander decks? I thought that type of game covers the TCG itch. I dont know if there is a market for 40k underworld equivalent. I guess i dont feel same way as you do, but if it happens then i am happy for you. :)
  8. Ah. The second edition. It would be nice for GW to release something like this so that a buyer has enough terrain for a game. Cardboard terrain is not bad for starting off. Its cheaper to produce than solid plastic terrain. I recall battletech starter boxes coming with terrain and it was decent. I dont recall the name of starter set. 3rd edition MTO i would have ordered if they actually included the terrain with the set. 5th edition starter was nice and i missed out on that set. 8th was a great set. I bought the space marine half and liked the models. As for guessing what next starter set would be, my guess would be marines vs chaos. It is not backup by anything. Just a guess.
  9. It is an interesting article. As for the black guardian kill team, can you just run normal craftworld with the extra cc equipment?
  10. Question. For those who own the kill team annual 2023. What lore is included in the book? Or is it strickly just kill team stats?
  11. The barricades is part of the deployment step in the game. You need 3 in total (as stated by Iansalt) The CSM legionary box is good if you want a flexible kill team. It can be played as following proxy type of kill team ( based on base size of model 32mm): * night lord * legionary * death guard * intercession squad (i know its hersey... but you can say it is a renegade chapter) Most of these teams are 6 models so you should have enough spare to represent other models.
  12. It is the same idea i had. I needed a skrimish type game that is easy to transport and doesnt take up too much time to play. The alternating action makes it fast pace. No idea if u have all the models check the kill team roster to see what type of models you need for veteran guardsman. The learning curve is not high if you play the kill team lite rules. You dont need special rulers, dice. But you will need 3 barricades. 3"x1" size.
  13. Interesting news. I want to see the prices before commiting to buy.
