  1. If you're limited to plastic kits then the Command Squad box + a close combat weapons kit will give you everything you need for a basic Centurion. He doesn't need to be too fancy, he's just a line officer.
  2. Thanks for the kind words! The gold is Decayed Metal, and Elven Gold from Scale75, Aluminium from Vallejo, and green ink from Inktensity. The dullness the matt varnish I apply to the model.
  3. Thanks bro! Yeah, it was strange not to add any weathering or scratches to the model. Definitely more of a standard GW approach.
  4. And another late reply. Sorry. I'm keen to get some of the new Emperor's Children models, I've been waiting fifteen years for them. At this stage I don't have any plans for a large project or new army. Waiting for the new edition to come out is stopping me from committing to anything new at the moment. I'll definitely get some of the new models though, even if it's just to paint a couple up for fun. Thanks a lot! I was really happy with how Fulgrim turned out. Some pics of the models that I've been working on over the last few months. Still a WIP. He needs an axe. Thanks for looking
  5. Mmmmmmmm, that early Heresy nostalgia! This piece was a lot of sun to work on and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Anyone that's a fan of the Heresy knows all about this scene. It was one of the many climactic scenes of the first three Heresy novels, and perfectly encapsulates the fratricidal tragedy of the setting. The physical models themselves were also one of the earlier Heresy releases along side the legendary first Black Book: Betrayal. Thanks for looking
  6. Really glad you like it bro! I used Warlord Purple for the armour, it's a naturally vivid colour, but adding highlights and shadows is what really makes it pop.
  7. Fulgrim is finished! He is probably my favourite ever GW model. It's such a nice sculpt. Now I'm just desperately waiting for some plastic 40k Noise Marines so that I can build him an army to lead. Thanks for looking
  8. I've recently been working on Fulgrim Transfigured! He's nearly done now, I just need to work on the wings. Hope you like how he's looking. What a glow up! Shame about the horrible rules... at least the model is outstanding. Thanks for looking
  9. GW are giving away a Deathwing Knight model as this month's free model at their stores. As soon as I saw the Deathwing Knights I knew they were supposed to be Imperial Fists or Black Templars, not Dark Angels I hope you like how he turned out! I want to do a whole squad now... Thanks for looking
  10. As a wash I thin it right down with water and then paint it on to the areas where I want it to be.
  11. I've just finished a character for my Death Guard project. These guys have been on the back burner while I've worked on my High Elf project. It's nice to paint a space marine again though. They're so much easier I hope you like how he turned out. Thanks for looking
  12. Yeah, it's Imperial Fists contrast over a pink and white pre-shade. I don't think I'll paint anymore Epic minis. This was just the free Rhino that GW was handing out as the model of the month.
  13. I took a quick break from the Death Guard and painted up this tiny Rhino I hope you like him
