  1. ...and then there’s Prot just painting amazing models and making great threads to post them in!! Beautiful looking models, Prot!! The scattered red bullet tips on Yabba-Dabba-Abbadon’s bullet belt are such a subtle and great little detail!! Brilliant!! Looking forward to seeing and reading more!! End of Line
  2. Great thread you’ve got here Val!! I too like so many have finally embraced the Primaris range. After the loss of the majority of my army several years ago I lost all momentum with Space Wolves and kinda 40K in general. I digress... With the release of the Ragnar I sooooooo wanted and was needed and is awesome, I’ve returned to the Rout. I’ve split the Rag/Gaz box, bought an intercessor squad and am eagerly awaiting the assault Marines for that oh so appealing feral marine look. Your gaming table blows my mind. Brilliant design!! I especially like the pull out drawers underneath and the massive amount of army and terrain storage. I’m looking forward to more as it is very inspiring for me!! End of Line
  3. I am amazed!! This is quite the undertaking you've set out on, and you're making some amazing models from some really cool chapters!! This thread truly is a Marine players nostalgic stroll down memory lane. Thanks for sharing all of this!! End of Line
  4. WoW, Dantay!! It's been a while since I perused through your thread, here. You've really been busy, and your wolves are looking as unique as ever!! Always a pleasure!! I am also glad to hear that everything went well!! End of Line
  5. TITHI- Filled in a gap on Ulrik the Slayers cloak and primed a Rune Priest on a bike. End of Line
  6. TITHI... Played two 1K point games with my Death Guard. Glued a Deathwatch Librarian in TDA to a new base, and snapped a Deathwatch Watchmaster off of a little base, and glued him onto an appropriately sized one. End of Line
  7. Beautiful sight indeed, brother!! Russ looks great with all the TDA!! End of Line
  8. I agree that a heavily airbrushed black armor looks over the top (at least in my opinion). I understand lighting and how it plays and reflects off of surfaces, but the tried and true classic edge highlighting that allows the natural light to highlight the model is still my favorite look. Like mithrilforge, I am relying on the WHTV video and the painting guide I just bought to tackle my army. End of Line
  9. I agree with your decision to change the skin tone, Bryan. I think this new version is more fitting, plus the lighter color pops against the mid-low toned blue armor. Nicely done, as usual. Keep it coming, brother!! End of Line
  10. I have the biggest case, what ever it is called. And to be honest, I don't like it. The jagged bits of foam hold the models in well, but getting them in and out is a pain in the buttocks. I can fit all of my 45 TDAWG into it, along with two BlizzDreads, Bjorn, and my StormGrrr. I have to transport the pods in a separate case, to my dismay. I am seriously contemplating selling the case off and picking up a Battle Foam or KR Mulitcase instead... End of Line
  11. Gone out for snacks, perhaps?? The weather here has been cold and wet, so no painting for me... But, I have enough plastic to choke a horse. No, ten horses... Off to build more DC now!! End of Line
  12. The finished Raven looks amazing, Luther!! Your Drop Pod is also well done, RedemtionNL!! I picked up a couple more paints for Lamenters color scheme today. Going to tackle the test marine this weekend!! End of Line
  13. I started my Lamenters plog!! Check it out, if you're interested!! http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/317860-for-those-we-cherish-we-die-in-glory-a-lamenters-wip/ End of Line
  14. It is the Daemonic Yellow Colour Primer from Army Painter. It's a really nice color and after several thin and quick passes over the model, provided really smooth coverage. I highly recommend it for this kind of project. Maybe not so much for smaller bits. I have yet to look into an equivalent match from other companies. If anyone knows of a match, that'd be swell. Hell yeah, he is!! http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac194/Khyron666/image.png End of Line
  15. Looking forward to seeing the 'bird', Luther. I got this guy primed up!! http://i899.photobucket.com/albums/ac194/Khyron666/IMG_2636.jpg FOR THOSE WE CHERISH, WE DIE IN GLORY!! Lamenters blog coming soon!! End of Line
