Grand Master Laertes's Achievements

  1. In a setting where you have stasis firlds that literally stop the flow of time? Unlikely
  2. Oh god, I hope they don't end up in thr marketing departments under Andy Smillie's management. I've only heard horror stories about it.
  3. Years ago I had done the math and seen that they used a simple average of the exchange rates of the last three years, which is a way of managing the risk of currency fluctuations. I have no idea if they still do that, though.
  4. The products are listed in both English and French versions, so I'd say Canadian Dollars
  5. I haven't been on the forum for years now, but I am so happy to see that you haven't abandoned your biggest project and are still working on it! Your dedition is inspiring!
  6. I asked for rules to use the Forgeworld Mechanicum models in games of 40k, as was promised with the (now cancelled) Fires of Cyraxus book.
  7. Be warned that some Warhammer stores are not receiving their weekly shipments either. I have been a couple of times in my nearest store and they did not have yet the "new releases" of the previous week. Covid and Brexit related issues (expecially Brexit, for those of us that are in continental Europe).
  8. The simple answer? Yes, I haven't played since 7th edition, and still I kept buying and painting models. The longest answer: I have different approaches in the two situations. When I have time to play I focus on adding new units to my army and painting them fast, in time for the next game. When I don't play I collect and paint whatever catches my fantasy, even if I don't plan to ever collect that faction, trying to learn new techniques and improve my skills.
  9. TITH I completed the model that had been sitting the longest in the unfinished pile: bought and started 16 years ago! How liberating!
  10. Or a Tech-marine (that could have more equipment cards than other low-level characters) on a bike with targeting array and vortex grenade. He could speed wherever on the battlefield and kill whatever you wanted with 2+ on turn 1. I remember having that done to me I remember spending hours as a kid trying to cut a metal Techmarine in half with a file so I could convert him... But the instant death of my friend's Daemon Prince and Abaddon was well worth the effort
