So, as the title says, I have decided to start a new Marine project, and im looking for opinions on the color scheme. Im trying to get away from doing a scheme that has been done, so ive been trying to come up with something different. I want to push myself to learn how to use some new colors and do it properly, so ive picked Red and Yellow as I have a relative difficulty on using both to good effect. Any thoughts on the below scheme, and also, looking to see if this has been done before by a known Successor chapter before I head down the road. Please hit me with any thoughts and or opinions. That Land Raider was a huge pain, that was purchased the day that kit came out WAY back in the early days. It had so many coats of paint on it that it took forever to strip and the hurricane bolter assemblies completely came apart in the stripping solution. Rebuilding those was "Fun".

So, at the beginning of 8th edition I decided it was time to get out my Templar models and give them a revamp. I had started this army back in 3rd edition and collected and played it over the years with taking a few breaks here and there to pursue other hobbies. This is a collection of photos that I decided to finally take with some Christmas 2019 gifts that my wife and parents gifted me, a new Lightbox and a Macromat system. Please enjoy these, as its been a long process to update to this new paint scheme, and im very proud of where the army has come to. There is much work to be done with this, as its only a small set of miniatures in the vast collection that is my Black Templar army, and I will add new photos as squads get finished. I would second the idea of after your first game it wont matter for the try hards, and honestly everyone should go to have a good time at that kind of a tournament. Dont stress on making someone else who wants to win the whole thing happy. If they get a win from you, it puts them in a better position to win and you can move on to the lower tables where your kind of game is going to take place. If you have never been to a tournament before, a team tournament can be much less stressful and a lot of fun for a first time, and veterans of tournament play to be honest. Take the list you have planned, go and meet people, you will make new friends, I promise. As far as screwing your buddy, I dont know of much you can do damage wise, but if you play your movement correctly, try to charge units he wants to charge and block his charge lanes with your squads so he cant get in. That should be frustrating for him.

So, I dont know how this would work, I think I've read other people talking about how an interaction like this would work in. Faq somewhere but I hear no idea where. Knights says unmodified 6s auto hit and auto wound. Master swordsman says unmodified 6s cause 2 hits. I'm thinking that the way this works is 6s give you 1 auto wound, and the second auto hit from master swordsman is then rolled to see if it wounds. Or does the first 6 then cause 2 auto wounds. Information on where this is clarified would be great if you can tell me where it can be found.

My Wife was kind enough to buy all 4 of them for me, so a complete collection of wave 1. Funny enough she's the Pop Collector, so im not sure if it was 100% for me exactly.
