  1. Really? I feel most of them look ungainly and as if they're holding poses no one actually would. Particularly on the left hand side of the picture. Now a lot of that can probably be alleviated by making better choices with the arm positioning, but the feet are planted on a lot of them. The old mk. VI tactical marines aren't disimilar, but still have more dynamic legs.
  2. The overall aesthetic of the model is great, but the lower legs and feet exemplify everything I hate about the mk. VI redesign. Just comically oversized.
  3. I love the little robot assistants. Wish they could be bought separately.
  4. Much like with the mk. VI re-design, I really don't like the mk. III at all.
  5. Perhaps I'm misremembering, but I seem to recall that when we caught the first glimpses of reworked mk.III armour there was also mk. IV. That notwithstanding, I can't imagine we'd get scaled up mk.III without doing something about IV as well. Otherwise it'd be a lone undersised plastic armour style vs. the other two on sale.
  6. Or if they do take them down, that they're faithfully remade in plastic. I know we're getting new mk. IV and mk. III basic marines to match the plastic mk. VI scale, I just hope it's a scale change only. The design shift from resin mk. VI and existing 40k plastics of it to the new(ish) HH plastic version is horrible imo and I don't trust GW not to mess up the other two if re-designing as well as upscaling.
  7. I wish it was more vampire squiddy. A head that looked like that or a larger membrane that started much further up the body and actually could envelope either the leaper or it's prey would be cool. As it is we get a half skirt, the placement of which leaves it unable to do anything like that.
  8. I haven't seen people try and make such silly justifications for other parts of the anatomy.
  9. Location and relative size of it to the organism mean it simply couldn't work like that.
  10. 100%. An organic skirt is dumb anyway, but particularly on a stealth killer that should be as streamlined as possible.
  11. Yeah it's clearly just that they don't want to do a pass on rules for all these things. If it was actually about retconning exactly how scarce and rarely used they are, it's incredibly easy to come up with something like 0-1 relics per 1000 points (if that's even how army lists work these days, I haven't kept up with the rules side for years and years). I forget which edition, but you used to need to have a Reclusiarch to be able to select a relic from the armoury. I always felt it should be a techmarine or a commander, but the notion of certain ranks of character allowing access to the chapter's most revered war machines is fluffy and an easy rule. Even though I don't play, stuff like this punches my hobby motivation in the face.
  12. The dude with the auto-pistol and book could work? First thing I noticed, really stoked to see it. I feel like the guy with the shotgun is also an old Inquisitor model shrunk down, but I can't place it.
  13. The whole armour is substantially different to the current Mk.III plastics.
  14. I don't mind it being in Mk. VI in general, but the way they've changed design for the plastic HH is chunky and weird. Not a fan. People thinking it's just a render, the real thing will be different are huffing a bit of copium. We have the existing plastic HH Mk. VI tacticals, they look the same. Mk. VI plastic parts in the various 40k firstborn kits (tacticals, assault squad, vanguard, sternguard, etc.) are far, far superior as are older resin HH bits for this armour mark.
  15. Everything looks fantastic, I can appreciate players' concerns over the new smaller models that they aren't particularly necessary for the roster and have been created at the expense of updating other units.
