  1. I haven’t played it but I have played Vermintide. It’s a co-op horde shooter. Left 4 Dead is one of the notable examples of the genre
  2. I don’t think so but I would love it. Hell, gimme a plastic Decimator
  3. Pretty sure the Kasrkin and Ogryn are also non-etb as well. Interesting mix of kits here
  4. I don't think so. That version was based off an old piece of art work. This is super tempting, depending on price point I already have the psyker and zealot from BSF, but I could convert these into something else. I wonder if the Traitor Guard will come with the Kill Team upgrade sprue
  5. I often get held up on naming things. Luckily there are a good set of name generators out on the web, even for the Kroot
  6. I guess one question that might arise is where to source special weapons. IIRC, the SA only come with their fancy Lasguns. I guess if you have a decent bit of spare bits from an existing army shouldn’t be too hard, but if your starting an army it might hinder your choices
  7. I have ideas in my head, I just need to get them on a word document. I’m a good way through their origins, but I fear I might be going through to much detail there. The real interest for me is their current situation of being trapped in Imperium Nihilus with a small contingent of allies, but I need to get there first
  8. I just finished the Biggest Dakka, and Mike did a great job with the Drukhari side of the book. I’ll be on the lookout for this
  9. I love my Tzaangors. I am a Tzeentch fan, so they actually make sense for me too. I actually don’t have a Beastmen AoS army, I took the old Beastmen Start Collecting and converted them all for 40k, with the Cygor being a counts as LoC. The new Felgors that came out actually fit in perfect with the Gors I converted, so I’m pretty happy with it. i do feel pretty bad for that AoS community though. Being a Renegades and Heretics fan, it sucks having your faction taken away, even if you can still kind of play it in other ways.
  10. As an unabashed Beastmen fan I’ll be for it. Mind you I already bought Slaangors and I don’t have any interest in Hedonites
  11. Nope, Fulgrim will be Heresy only just like Spartans and Contemptors /s
  12. So my first minis are actually WHFB Orc Warbosses (and I plan on getting the re-released kit and trying again!), but this is a comparison between a Kroot I painted circa 2008 and one I stripped and repainted in 2022. If you are wondering why the first guy has such a thick paint job, it’s because I was using Testors enamel paints from Hobby Lobby . YouTube painting tutorials are a godsend
  13. It's actually a lovely idea. By the time of 11th, much of the Custodes will be reaching their decade mark. Be a good chance to roll in some FW units or come up with some 40k equivalents. And hopefully they can expand SoS alongside them, for my interests sake I think Drukhari refresh is happening this edition though.
  14. I think the Red Talons story is better because it had the focus of a single character. The Iron Lords story, though I enjoyed it, had too many perspectives for a short story. With the Red Talons I grew attached to the protagonist and his background I do hope to see both authors try their hand again at these Iron Hands successors.
  15. Finished up the rival Beastmen of my small Nurgle warband I attempted a basing similar to my Nurgle traitor guard, but as a muddy toxic swamp.
