  1. Was typing up a storm, then I noticed I largely misread the post I was going to reply to, so am dropping the quotation. I think this is definitely going to be a knight release. It fits very well with the MO they had with the Questoris chassis. Originally, the Questoris had just two ranged weapon options, no melee options, no shoulder weapon options and no top weapons at all ,or 4 different weapons in grand total. It then got repackaged with additional weapon options several times, adding even entirely new weapon categories like top carapace launchers, with the current weapon count is well above a dozen. These sprues also came with additional customization options, new face helms etc, like we see here. The fact that we have a noticeable weight to Admech specific armaments and decorations here, to me more suggest to me that the original sprues for the Destrier were kind of light on these parts to begin with. The admech theme of this sprue may even be a selling point but, but the sprue will be open for non admech house knights as well, like those carapace rocket pods. That said, as the ultimate "low number of total kits" army, knights typically don't get particularly many new kits or kit addons whenever the spot light is shown on them. I could definitely see this being their one 11th edition add-on, and timing wise it could very well directly precede (or follow) a wider mechanicum release wave.
  2. Like marine quite a bit, but it feels a bit more like a limited edition lieutenant model or a games day miniature (though in that comparison it does come up short compared to Bayard's Revenge). It's also the first marine miniature we've had for warhammer+, if we discount the Khorn terminator lord based on that very classic artwork. Still, it looks like it'll fun to paint up.
  3. The pad doesn't have the typical indent in the front that you find on terminator shoulder pads, it also appears to be completely uniform at the bottom, which I can't recall Indomitus terminator pads ever being. They always have the bit that goes further down in the center of the bottom rim. Rather I find the left pad more reminiscent of a Mk VI pad, though with blade guard thickness (and without bonding studs, though it has rivets along the edge).
  4. Given I got Helbrecht, Bayard's Revenge and that one sergeant guy from back when, this feels like he'll fit right in. EDIT: Nevermind! The text clearly says the the model is chapter agnostic despite the name!
  5. Like most of what I see, though the helmets look a little odd
  6. Speaking of "anything Techmarine is in", given that the model does feature a seated techmarine of primaris proportions, one would wonder how well said techmarine could be used for say, being the basis for a Outrider Techmarine conversion for instance? There was finally MPK outrider kit coming. Suppose it'd be hard to predict exactly without having handled both kits...
  7. Oh god, I don't even really like custodes that much but....
  8. I quite like him. Maybe they could have given him more hanging dangly teef bits, but some of the classic design would be hard to translate to modern design sensibilities.
  9. Really feels like this character was just designed and made along the recent victrix guard models, and then just held back.
  10. I get that this is the hobby where you're free to do this. Your guys your lore. But really, that's a bit much. And I know its an official chapter.
  11. Cool model. Want to snag the bare head from a bits vendor
  12. Good to finally have them. Bodes well for the inevitable captain
