  1. Unique corrupted Leviathan. Same situation as the contemptor, but more analogous and the same size as the Redemptor without actually being one, sporting slightly different weapons. Avoids the situation we have now where the Redemptor and its variant completely towers over the current hellbrute.
  2. Levithan is the obvious pick, as it is similiar in size to the redemptor chassis. would make a nice counterpoint
  3. Im just relieved it isn't horus heresy but 40k proper. Factions may be a bit thin on launch, but with how these thing usually go with dlc we can pretty much expect every faction eventually.
  4. this is very much a pic or it didn't happen sort of deal. It could turn out to be true. But we have no real reason to believe this over anything else before then.
  5. There doesn't need to be a connection between BR and DA for the matchup to be interesting. Two sepperate and secretive and kinda :cuss:-ish chapters is prepping the scene for conflict. I'm not overly a fan of either but this peaks my interest
  6. I believe we're some 20 months out still? Not that an actual release has to follow the 10 year anniversary date exactly or at all... in fact has a model ever? We've had anniversary models and such for game editions or Warhammer or 40k itself, but I can't really recall a situation of "It's the X anniversary of this kit, thus we're releasing a new version now". Regardless, the current intercessor kit poorly fits the current game rules. A lot of space devoted to what kind of bolt rifle you're equipping the squad with, which is no longer even relevant. Historically, the Tactical squad kit (among others) was refreshed fairly frequently so its pretty much a no brainer that the intercessor kit will be as well.
  7. Surpressors do need an update kit, like a whole lot. While I never really actively disliked them, as some do, with how Inceptors look and how Jump pack intercessors look, there's no way the surpressors backpack is convincing as something that does the same thing. Desolation squad too please. I've tried to like them, I really have. but...
  8. Seen one or two blue emperor's champion ngl
  9. Yes they can, but that does not mean everyone have done so. They can also be completely indifferent to the various chapters of the badab war. Its not the holy grail of marine lore that everyone knows and wants the most. As much as I've harped on UM favoritism over the decade their current line up does not really exceed what others have gotten so far (out of the big... five? So weird to say that) When's the last time there was anything for Badab? Its at this point a small niche of what forgeworld did before they did, well anything besides the heresy. A small footnote. The other marine conflict from decades ago. The Heresy fills up all off the marine on marine conflict of today.
  10. I will now more or less do the very thing I pretty much accused others of: I will assume the thing I do is what most do. Shrug and move on, this not having been enough of a deal to make me react in one way or another. (It really didn't, the string of what i find to be ridicilous overreactions here did)
  11. I'm not overly amused by this. I see what it's going for, kinda. I'm not sure it does a particularly good job... but those people claiming to be offended by this... really? To me it feels like you have to be someone perpetually looking for something to be offended by from GW if this somehow crosses some line...? EDIT: Oh, and I wouldn't be so sure most space marine fans today even know what the Badab war is, let alone have it as their one defining thing which is what they really really want. I think claims to the contrary probably lacks any real overview as to the demographics of the entire fandom and is way more of a projection of "what I want" equals "what we want". Don't get me wrong, the Badab war is a popular part of the lore, particularily among older players. But we (I too like it, y'know?) don't define the entire fandom, even when limited to space marines. Edited, rather than double post
  12. I just want terminator justice across all chapters
  13. The key is not part of heretic or khorne design language. But really shoddy print and paintjob trumps any other argument if you ask me
  14. scientifically defined by the following formula: n+1 where n is the current edition of 40k.
