  1. Can't read any of that mate as it's black text
  2. I was actually considering setting up a service doing something very much like this for our overseas brethren. My concern was A) how much of my time would it take up and B) how much of a cut should I make that's reasonable but still a significant saving for the people buying. Obviously getting a stockist account with GW would mean bigger savings, but I believe its against their ToS to do that, and you need a brick/mortar business to apply. So that would leave me buying from stockists at 20% and shipping onwards.
  3. With glue and clippers! I've just built an old FW pred with lascannons and lascannons, because I want my world eaters to have something that can take out armour, and that seemed the best load out to take. The 3 new plastic ones I've earmarked for the Iron IV, will have autocannon turret and lascannon sponsons, for nostalgia and cheapness, and means they can have a pop at most targets
  4. Reclaimed a VERY thickly painted damocles rhino from ebay on the cheap. Stuck the bits on a new deimos rhino:
  5. Looks awesome! Great sense of movement! I used metal rods to fix mine to the base, and I also cheated and had the raised foot brushing the top of some terrain so I could do the same on that foot too
  6. Can we get a view from the front to see how it's running
  7. What I'm saying is there's nothing wrong with putting Rann on a 40mm base if that's what's wanted.
  8. From the warhammer world FAQ: Grand tournament events Rann would have to be on 32mm, anything else is fine. (unless your local players only play GT rules)
  9. Other legion specific cataphractii shoulder pads have the legion symbol on the left, but honestly have it wherever you like. The Legions were far more loose with their iconography than 40k. If you look at the assault cannon weapon pack at the BA there, the legion symbol is on his knee, and a squad marking is on the left pad
  10. What difference does it make not being official? And IMO wasn't the ruling in tournaments etc that bigger bases were fine, its trying to make your base smaller than the one supplied frowned upon? Shieldwall rules state only 3 models in the squad need to be in b2b contact with each other. That being the case I'd rather have groups of 3 in unit coherency to mitigate templates rather than forming them up like ranks of ancient history. So I'd say if he wants a 40mm base for scenic purposes there's no real reason not to
  11. Damn you went about it the hard way! :D amazing job you did on it
