Heres the next lot. Still have 60 marines, 10 drop pods, 3 rhinos, 2 sicarans, 2 dreads, 1 landraider, 1 spartan and a partridge in a pear tree to go!

No, it doesn't go on heavy unless you do multiple passes, and im not too fussed if I make a mistake

Thank you! Honestly it makes painting so quick! Ive always struggled painting tanks too, with the large flat panels, so it really gets you a smooth finish Also, little tip i found online, to give a bit of depth after youve sprayed a tank your chosen colour, use agrax earthshade straight from the pot through the airbrush into the corners, around edge plates etc. You can see it best on the fists rhinos

Thanks, the airbrush does most of the heavy lifting! Part of the reason I made such a massive vow was to get some sense of urgency so that I'd paint over the 3 months. All thats happened is its given me focus over the past 2 weeks. Im 50/50 on whether I can get everything finished. My 2 main issues are that I'm not happy/settled on how im doing my iron hands, and thats set me back. The other potential issue is if the wife will let me ignore everything else at the weekend and just paint! Wish me luck!
