  1. Sonic Dreads would be the dream but let's go bigger! Sonic Leviathan dreadnoughts! GW has the CAD files all they need is to give it some chaos flair, new guns and massive chest implants for even more sonar goodness!
  2. It grabs me just right, it's exactly what I was looking for to plan my kit bash! Thank you so much Captain, I've bookmarked the page and will certainly buy bits from there.
  3. I wasn't looking for anything in particular tbh, just wanted to see my options and see if I wanted to go with GW mk7 JPs or something else. Guide me brother captain!
  4. I have a ton of Assault Intercessors that I wish to convert into Assault squads at some point which is basically just giving them a jump pack and now that 3d printing is a great place for bits I was thinking of just printing the jump packs but I don't know which, I a design i seen online But I'm making this thread so others can help me find a nice looking jump pack to print or maybe a 3rd party bits store that sells them, which ones do you guys like or prefer? Thanks!
  5. At this stage I think the whole Primaris design paradigm where each kit has little,e to no options is an absolute failure, it works on paper similar to 30k where each unit has one role and that's fine but in the physical world it blows that intercessors have no options in the kit or that there's a dozen bolter variants each slightly different but not enough to actually matter, I think moving forward GW should just return to kits with options that matter and consolidate all the useless fluff that plague some units and do the same with generic characters. Can you imagine if instead of two types of bolters the incursor kit came with special weapons or chainswords? Maybe they could actually act like saboteurs with a couple meltaguns, or if instead of 3 types of bolters intercessors had the option for special weapons? Options are not the enemy and the lack of it has bloated the SM codex ridiculously, Devastators are one unit with more options than 3 Primaris equivalents, one kit, one datasheet, several roles that should be the SM design thought. As for what I want? Terminator upgrade kits for everyone and Veteran bikers because I'm still salty that Outriders look amazing and there's no company veterans datasheet, such a cool unit that went legends just as GW updates the bike model, he'll this could be an upgrade sprue with two power weapons, some bling and done. After years of asking this I'm still hopeful that they will come.
  6. What would actually be wild for this release is if it had a dedicated kit for Fabius Biles New Men, like a weird looking lightly armored infantry perhaps as a sort of call back to legion inductii.
  7. My one hope for this range is that DOOMRIDER returns along with new biker kit, that'd be freaking glorious! I am absolutely pumped, chuffed, ready and willing to join the glory of Slaanesh, BRING IT GW!.
  8. The writing has been been on the wall regarding FB units and while this new codex did breathe new life into these old units they also scrapped like half of the current units so I'm not expecting units like Rhinos, Razorbacks or Castraferrum to get anything but deleted and anything getting an update will be in the vein of the Terminator/Assault Marines update, same unit but under the Primaris umbrella. At this point I'm not surprised GW is doing this, their production issues coupled with a bloated production line is a recipes for this situation and as for marines, we don't need 9 flavor of LTs and Captains or a squad per weapon load out so I hope those get consolidated somehow, now that the Intercessor box has tons of scopes and ammo that do nothing they could rebrand the unit as a new Tactical squad by adding two Plasmas/Flamer/Missiles in the box and consolidating the Tacticus special weapon squads into one unit, that's another way to reduce unit count and bloat.
  9. I doubt this will be a supplement but I can see it have units from other codexes in it, sort of like what CSM does with the cult marines but expanded. So you could have one entry per Ordo, Deathwatch kill team, GK terminator squad and SoB Celestians plus all the current kill team units, a stormtroopers unit and some guard vehicles thrown in and it's looking like pretty full codex.
  10. Animation with a proper budget and production? Its exactly what ive been waiting for, i hope this is true and its a big project because animation fits 40k way better than live action.
  11. Thats the best pose theyve done for marine characters in a while, its both dynamic and has all the weight of power armor. Really knocked it out of the park imo. I hope they do a Nemean Reaver.
  12. And being compatible so later codices can still be used in the new edition and not just last 6 months.
  13. Templars were being investigated by the High Lords as of their 4th ed codex, in it an adept recounted all known crusades and concluded the chapter was beyond 1000 marines and sent the report to the high Lords for further action and iirc this was sorta followed in a DA codex where the inquisition was investigating the ophidium gulf incident and was also going to look into both chapters, so while it's nebulous and rarely enforced the 1000 marine is a law and hard limit but even the Astral Claws who built a legion within the Imperium where only brought down for not paying taxes and not for 5000 marines.
  14. Even if we don't have company formations in lore we do have an order of battle from which the devs can make a detachment, off the top of my head: First stage of an Assault, Drop Pods and fast elements so maybe a detachment for deep striking units and speeders Second stage, landing of heavier elements, a new take on Mechanized detachment that's a mix of transport and tank focus Full on Assault I think is covered by the RC detachment as is the idea of a Crusade And then there's the idea that they could take different crusade formations as detachments, Righteous Crusaders is your core of the crusade, Marshall's Household for your Veterans and a Fighting Company detachment for a more specialized take. There's plenty of inspiration to go around imo so I doubt they will split the RC detachment to make 4 different ones.
