Actually on closer inspection its the Warhammer world exclusive Iron Warriors praetor. Its the same white reisin as the new one. It could be a recaster though.,

The reisin looks whiter than GW reisin. I'd guess 3rd party. Still a cool model. The same seller also has this model listed which I havent seen before.

It's a plastic mini I got second hand. It's from the dark vengeance set. Its got a thin layer of paint on it. My plan with the right pauldron is to be pretty rough. Its going to look mostly battle damaged with the chapter symbol mostly obliterated. That would be in keeping with my armour lore. I suppose I could try and rebuild from scratch. It'd be harder but do you guys think it'd be worth it?

I'm good with any equipment. Maybe some kind of utility tool like an auspex. I had an old character called Nolites so I'll go with that name. Making a model of your character is a cool idea. I have this old dark angel that could be converted into a Marine Malevolent. Thoughts - would spraying white over this be a mess or should I paint directly on it? I don't have paint stripper. Think I should obliterate the DA symbol entirely or leave a bit as the wing sorta looks like a MM chapter symbol.

I prefer theother mini although the Necromancer looks like gets his clothes in the same shop professional wrestlers do. Nothing says wizard like showing off your guns and chest!

I guess sort of based on this art? Its a great model, but not an incredible model the way some have been.

I've been playing thr game ISONZO recently. It's relatively realistic as a shooter. I've lost track of the amount of times I've shot someone who turned out to be on my side. That's in a game where the uniforms are somewhat similar but there's still some identifiers over players heads. In real life in that kind of battle with mud and confusion the amount of friendly fire must be astronomical. 40k doesn't try to simulate real battles. For example you know where all your enemies units are at all times. There was an attempt online around 3rd ed to produce rules for that kind of battles. Fog of War where units can get orders wrong type stuff, or you as commander don't see what is happening due to smoke.

I never liked when marines had that chin strap. It mostly (but not exclusively)appears on tank commanders. Is he a tanker?

I hope they make another Iconic piece of art work into a mini. Any suggestions? If they released an Emperor mini this way it would cause a riot.
