  1. Its one hour 19 minutes. I'm not that used to audio books. Does that sound like enough time to cover the novella?
  2. Might be a fun moment in a new book where following the return of the Lion someone asks Gulliman about the two lost primarchs. "You know of the two lost Primarchs?" "Yes, The Khan and Russ. They are still missing."
  3. A Sevetar novel would go down a storm.
  4. I really like this depiction of a marine, but his knees are weirdly low.
  5. The mini isnt new. I would have liked to see Raguel the Sufferer (if only as a hat tip) in ADB's 30k Blood Angel siege novel. Given what Haley did with Lucoryphus maybe we might see a hat tip.
  6. Is there a chance we're looking at it the wrong way around. Maybe its a censer rather than a mace.
  7. Finished this. The best bits were all spoiled on reddit. The story is paper thin on top of all thr issues I've already highlighted. Brooks can be a good author, but usually he isn't. This isn't one of those times, which is a shame as Harrowmaster was.
  8. Interesting that the commissar is portrayed as a commissar. I get that facist disciplinarians aren't sympathetic protaganists, but it seems every other black library protagonist commissar is a super special commissar who doesn't want to be nasty to people. If they're raised from Childhood for the job, they can't all be secretly decent.
  9. :cuss:. Yes. Even if this is Robert Rath's worst novel, that still means it'll only be BL's 4th best novel overall.
  10. The tash and fringe make him look like a skanger.
  11. 60 quid? Looka like something my local pound shop sells 3 for a tenner around Halloween.
