Many thanks @MithrilForge! I definitely think you’re right, the base needs a little bit more work. I have an old piece of damaged terrain not doing anything useful so I can break that into bits for the bases. Yours looks great so I’ll take inspiration from that! Hopefully it won’t be too long before another update.

It’s been ages since I’ve added to this thread! (I’ve completed my AoS project so no excuses) I’ve finished my first Krootox Rampager. These kits are stunning and huge! Can’t wait to get cracking on these full time. Kroot Rampager Kroot Rampager Kroot Rampager Kroot Rampager Kroot Rampager With the imposing size and angry looking face I thought the Krootox looked like a bull so I went with red eyes to add to the furious look. I’m also happy with how the base came out, not sure how urban it looks but still I feel it’s effective. Thanks for looking and please do leave a comment or give advice.

@MithrilForge. I’d imagine you’re not going to have to wait too much longer! As for the Breachers you’re right! I need to get a Squad for the Fireblade to lead. Would fit nicely with my idea of mechanised T’au backed up by Kroot. Thanks @chapter master 454! Massively detailed explanation. I’m planning on 3 20 Kroot squads as the backbone of the force plus character support. Haven't opened my Hunting Pack box yet. I have to finish my AoS models before I go all out on the T’au and Kroot….. Its killing me!!

Thanks @The Praetorian of Inwit! I always tend to use a muted and limited palette on all my projects. It’s just the way I like it! I use a mix of GW and Vallejo paints, the main colour is “WW2 German Field Grey” I use it somewhere on every force I build! Thanks for the interest!

Great initial thoughts @chapter master 454! I’m starting things slightly differently from your good selves. I’ll start my force with Kroot being the first focus. So lots to be getting on with! The intention is to build on my Kroot Hunting pack but add an Armoured Interdiction Cadre! (Was an Apocalypse formation) I’ll form the AIC with Hammerheads and Sky Rays for antitank duties. Then hopefully add some spotter units as pts allow. Question is would this work? I’m hoping it will.

That’s the plan! I’m hoping that my box will arrive on Saturday. Once it does I’ll be all over it! I want to start with a Krootox Rampager! That way I’ll have my colour scheme nailed down for the rest of the Kroot.

I’m looking forward to seeing what you both do with your forces! Hopefully the release boxes don’t take too long to arrive.

Next up will be the new Kroot starter box. Can’t wait to get going on them!
