Not really, no. Let me remind you that the Black templars have long been the object of scrutiny from the inquisition for their numbers (among other things).
Our supplement may actually expand on that. Also, being excommunicated doesn't mean you're a heretic, merely that you've pissed off an inquisitor which by all standards seems to be a relatively easy thing to do.

Elements of note :
- right shoulder pad shows apothecaries as sword brethren (as it is a duty that would only be entrusted to senior/veteran members of the crusade imo)
- left shoulder pad is the apothecarion helix shoulder pad (red trim, white field)
- casing of the narthecium is white.
- as much bling as possible to make the model stand out. This is a bit of rule baiting but some people will simply omit to target an apo by assuming it is a character.
