  1. I have been painting up my Brutalis, and I have to say that it is a great looking model.
  2. 2023 Wishlist. Aggressors. Impulsors. Inceptors. I started my current BA project in 2018, but was put on hold until just recently. Now that I am back at the hobby table, I have a lot of catching up to do. :D
  3. While I really like Warhammer+, I would love it if they increased the sub to something like $15 USD and included a White Dwarf as well.
  4. Today my Death Company killed, lots and lots of Termagants. And in the process they kept a Tervigon tied up in melee for 3 full rounds. I forget how many bugs they killed, because the Tervigon kept make more to join the party, but they stuck around a lot longer than I thought they would.
  5. I have been playing in a local Crusade campaign, and I have been loving it. I have been playing more in the last 4 weeks than I have in the last 4 years. And I have even been building and painting models. It has been great fun.

  7. I think if the Angel was going to come back, then he would have come back during the Devastation of Baal. If that event couldn't bring him back to aid his sons, then nothing will.
  8. Ouch! Not even a month before that was changed. I wonder how long the other changes are going to last.
  9. I played my first crusade game, and I had a blast. My Templars Encarmine went toe to toe with my opponents RG successor chapter, and came out victorious (although I only had three models on the table by the end.). My MVP might be my Librarian Dread that flew into his back lines and assassinated his Captain. He died in the end, but it was worth it.
  10. I have been wanting to do Crusade so bad since it dropped. But the scene near me is nothing but competitive players. Lame. But one day I will get to be in a campaign. :D
  11. I'm hearing a lot about SP, so I think he is going to be the next thing I add, followed by adding more Bladeguard. For anti-tank, I'm deciding between Eradicators, and Invader ATVs. While I like attack bikes, I have been trying to limit Firstborn units to elites like SG, DC, and Dreads.
  12. I have been getting them on eBay. If you search "OOP Warhammer 40k" that usually works. :D
  13. So I guess I might be confused as to what the warband is doing. They have a secret manufactorum (awesome). Where is it located? Is it in space or hidden on a loyalist forge world? Where are the waystations located? Are they in space hidden along shipping lanes or hidden on a loyalist forge world? If all of this is happening on a single forge world, then why are they restricted to a single forge world? If they are restricted to a single forge world, then the warband has a very "Mad Max" feel to it. Which is great! But also, would that a story be told better if the characters were hive gangers rather than embittered legionaries fighting a 10,000 year long war of attrition? Also, if they are hidden on a lone forge world, why haven't the Ad Mech or the larger Imperium called in a couple chapters of Space Marines to scour the planet? If there are Renegade Knights, why haven't the Ad Mech called in a couple of titan engines to go hunting? My reading of what you have going on, gives me a very Montgomery v Rommel meets Fury Road vibe. Which I think would make for an amazing novel or novella, but for the basis of a long history for a warband.... it might be a little limiting.
  14. This sounds like Space Pirates. Unless they are somehow embedded and restricted to the Forge World, and jetpack marines are somehow taking down heavy freight cargo haulers. This sounds like setting up a logistical network. Unless the are building waystations just for funsies, and the Knight House is getting fully supported some other way?
