Brothers thanks for the answers. I bought the Assault Terminator 6 figure set on Ebay last week. I had all the other terminators from the Leviathon plus first gen. UM Terminators in one of my stashes. Maybe I start building all my terminators finally. VBG.

I have been busy with other projects and am wondering if the release the Crux Terminator set yet? Thanks for response.

Hi Brothers, Back from the brink! Since returning to our beloved fortress I checked for major touch up on 2 assault squads, 4 Tactical squads and the Command squad. I even found several Primaris marines I primed black 3 or 4 years ago. Over the next few days I will inspect the last two Tactical squads and both Devastor squads to see what I have not done yet (eye lenses, repainted armor add grenades, purity seals, ammo patches and holsters). I will then turn my attention to some Primaris Intercessors.

Second assault squad built painted, added grenades, ammo pouches and other awards. Just have touch up paint and repaint helmet lenses. Built my Lt. Titus and will build another Primaris Lt. have to paint them. I may not update this as I have major surgery next week and will be out of action for a month.

Brothers thanks for responding and info. I just repainted 5 jetpack after repriming them with Army paints uniform grey. I will paint them in Marine blue from Coat d'arms. l thought the same thing about Contrast UM Blue would be great for Crimson Fist. I will also use it for my Librarians that I still need to do. Thanks for the info. In one of my other discussions I explained why am still doing First Born UM but soon as I recover from my upcoming surgery I will be doing a bunch of Primaris Intercessors and others as I want to add some of them to each UM company I have. I may have enough Primaris to do a full company of them. VBG.

Tacitus, Thanks for your comments. I know I am outdated. VBG. I just like to build and paint for me. I no longer play as my sons are grown up (40 years old and 35 years old). I am over 70 years old. I probably have not played a game in 18 years. I collect. Today I checked another closet and found I never built the figures from Dark Imperium and The Indomitus Crusade. Recently I have been selling off some items on Feebay. LOL. I just bought an Infernus squad and a squad of Heavy Intercessors. Like I said I like to build. Decades ago I wanted to build the complete UM Chapter but other things came up in our life. Now that I am semi retired I decided to finish the Third company I started maybe 10 years ago. I need tpo make space on my desk for other projects. VBG. Eventually I will add the primaris UM to my collection as I now know I have a lot of them to build. have fun and thanks everyone for your responses.

Folks what color and brand of paint are you using to prime your figures? Also what blue are you using for our beloved UM's? I am asking as I do not like using GW Contrast UM blue. I find it a darker blue than I like for my UM's. Some times it appears almost black to me. I have primed some figures using black and applying the Contrast UM blue paint. This turned into a very dark blue I did not like. I then primed a few items Army painter uniform grey spray and even a few brush painted that color and GW Contrast UM blue is still too dark for me. Am I doin something wrong with the contrast paint? Note I wait a day or two before painting the blue. For my Third UM company I have been using Coat d'arms Marine blue as it is similar to GW original UM blue color that I like and painted my two other UM companies. I look forward to any response from you folks. Thanks

My latest update. I finished my first assault squad by adding ammo pouches and grenades. I have to do some touch up on the figures. Also started putting together the second assault squad. Once it is done I go back to the 6 tactical squads and see what has to be done ( add grenades and some other details) and do paint touch up. Same for the two devastor squads. On another thread some one suggested some Intercessors and the two Lts.

Brothers thanks for info. I already built my command squad for the Third UM company. I have to add the two Lts. to command squad and then I will go with the intercessors after finishing my second assault squad.

Folks, What Primaris figures should I add once I finish my assault squad for my UM Third company. I already did 6 tactical squads, 2 devastor squads and building to Assault squads. Command squad is done except for minor touchup. Thanks

Been a while so here goes. Working on two metal Tech marines I bought on ebay. Have to repaint one face the other one was done nicely. Spent a bunch of hours getting the parts in one place for me to start building the two assault squads. I probably will have enough figures to do another 2 squads. Also have to decide if i want to do another tactical company (Second) or do some Vangaurd or Sterngaurd squads. Went through my boxes and was surprised to find a bunch. VBG also started building a Razorback I had laying around for several years. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.

Today I painted all 80 UM figures I have done flexible armor behind the knees on each figure. Still have touch up to do on all shoulder pads, add some grenades to more figures and do the eyes on almost every squad. Once that is done I will build the 2 assault marine squads. I may even do all the remaining assault marines as a reserve company squad. Is there a tutorial on how to post photos? Any help appreciated.
