FW Fulgrim wasn't on the choices in the year he was released. Fulgrim is owed one year lol.

40k. I'm picking Fulgrim but I'd rather pick the Tormentors/ Infractors kit. In an age of monopose, these were such a lovely kit to build. Being able to swap arms, backpacks, heads and pads at will. Able to mix with the flawless blades bits. Genuinely loved building them. However, the genefather has to come top. AoS: Uruk Taar, loved the Taurus in the old world and this is a great AoSification for it. Other: Miao Ying. The Cathay range is beautiful. I've no horse in this race but it is a stunning mini and the whole range is lush.

I am genuinely assuming it means new Roboute for Christmas day. I do wonder how they're justifying a new one so soon though.

Christmas day last year was 40k Fulgrim. Any ideas or suggestions for this year?...

In fairness, for those that were waiting for the army, probably already have maxed out already. As such, we don't need the box. Orks have been my main army forever. Their choices vast. However, despite the constraints of the Emperor's Children, I've actually enjoyed playing them more in 10th edition than my orks. Army box, CP and Christmas battle force as I've said before is a sold army. However, anyone with sufficient noise Marines or already having a fulgrim won't be buying the box. That isn't to say the box is bad.

I played a lot of 2.0 but couldn't be bothered finishing the rulebook for 3.0 it was word spaghetti... What did you dislike about the game you had of 3.0?

The Battleforce + army box + CP is a pretty solid force. As for flawless blades, they're immense. I've run them out of land Raiders in rapid evisceration and they're brilliant. The extra attack each from the update makes them even better too. Don't write them off :)

In fairness, the value of the old prizes now would be insane. The secondary market for oldhammer is eye watering.

I wonder if they're prepping for 11th 40k already?

Resin demon fulgrim isn't as fragile as you'd think. However, the 40k is a lot chunkier (and a bigger base). Apparently 10,000 years of excess has taken its toll lol.

Warhammer has always been expensive but I'm toning back my GW expenditure as it's become too much. Very thankful there are oodles of games now for the golden age of geekdom.

For third IIRC they can only have grav/ lascutters so I'm assuming that's why they're the weapons. As for older editions, I think things like the old sternguard kit had some one handed weapons?
