Why is it more horror than crime?

Has anyone finished it?

I suspect there has to be some reason for why they are doing the release like that, because this seems unprecedented to me. Maybe the number of copies is very limited. Of course they could have explained why they suddenly change their release strategy for a book, but then that would be out of character. I think it might also be because they already released the regular edition. Remember, when the article for the Special Edition first went up, there was no mention of this store only purchase plan, that is something that they decided on later.

Any good Arbites scenes so far? Are there Inquisitors in it? That cult sounds interesting.

That is bizarre yeah, why not just buy it from you at 105. You're not bidding for a house and competing with others. That said I would also say your price was very low, I have the LE of Echoes and I would not sell at such a price. I would definitely see what the prices are on Ebay and I am sure they cant be less than 200. These LE's are now rare.

Yeah that doesnt look great. I am not sure why some of the Redditors there think it will have a dustjacket though. I dont see that on the photos in the thread, doesnt look like a dustjacket to me, and then aside from that, BL generally doesnt do that ( which I am glad about).

That is a nice touch, assuming its a hard slipcase and not one of those soft ones. I love the covers for these 2 books.

Its available through 3rd party sellers as well, I dont think supply is that limited.

If they wait much longer with that limited edition of Hive,it may not be worth getting if the regular hardcover follows in the next few months already.

German edition goes up for sale early August, which means English edition could be out anywhere between April and July.

The time that German editions arrive later than the English originals varies a lot, so its hard to determine what the August German release date will mean for the English one, except that it will be up for order no later than July.

Interested in the Liber Custodes. New background lore rather than a repeat would be nice.

Well, something interesting announced here, definitely will buy The Hive, looks very interesting , especially as the rather sparse article specifically mentions Adeptus Arbites, one of my favorite factions.

It's all they have been doing the last year, reprinting old books in new editions. Even in the BL celebration week they have almost nothing new to report.
