  2. Well what is quite new is that its being done in the Specialist Games campaign books. I know GW proper does that, mix old art with new in many books, but with forgeworld Black Books you did get new art. I dont know if Siege of Chtonia used quite a bit of older art, I actually dont think it did ( the complaint there was that there wasnt enough art, but not the re-use of older stuff). Still, this Beta Garmon book also does have a lot of new art so that is pleasing. Thats not a good sign for my enjoyment of the book PC, as I have seen your opinions on campaign books often match mine. Maybe they should have picked a different conflict to focus on after already doing AT: Titandeath and Great Slaughter supplements?
  3. You've already read Battle for Beta Garmon already? Or referring to a previous book like SoC? You have read this new book too? Mine is still in transit.
  4. Indeed only Xenos is out, but interesting news. Its very likely right what you suspect.
  5. Hmmm I listened to the interview and its still pretty vague what it is he wrote, but at least he confirms that what he did, comes out this year. Is it "Pandaemonium"? He says he "deliberately wrote something completely non-Heresy last year". So its not a Primarchs novel, that can be ruled out I would think. But then he also says "its still not a million miles away from it but its not actually Heresy". But then later on he says that after his new project, he may go back to Gaunts or Eisenhorn...
  6. It is yes. For me anyway. https://www.warhammer.com/en-NL/shop/legions-imperialis-the-great-slaughter-2024
  7. I only just saw this, didnt see a thread. Thought it looks excellent, part 1.
  8. For those who are wanting copies, the book is available again on warhammer.com
  9. Definitely looks like it and this is the redacted codex. Very very excited for an Inquisition codex.
  10. Broken Lance out today, anyone seen it?
  11. Yes it was a 2024 release, but they decided to add it anyway.
  12. All true One thing I wondered about though.....Warcom says they received ten thousands of votes. Really? You're telling me tens of thousands of people voted on this, implying that there are really tens of thousands of people: a) actually reading BL books b) Bothered enough to be reading that warcom article? I struggle with that idea, I dont know the specifics either but it never ever feels to me that there are "tens of thousands" people reading BL books. Could be the usual Warcom hyperbole of course.
  13. I did actually vote for the artbook, because I do like it but also because I want to encourage them to keep making books like that.
  14. I also noticed that some of the omnibus books releases in the last few years for 40K or Fantasy are going for incredibly high prices already. I wanted to see if I could get the Orion trilogy omnibus for instance...forget it. Clearly even of the paperback re-releases they dont print many copies, it all sells out in weeks/months.
