I still suspect that book will be be announced and released towards the end of the year. The main reason for that is that I suspect they are going to want to release 1 book a year at least. And there is no other heavy hitter books looking due in the next few months.

Who knows? That is basically it. We dont know how the books sold so we cant say if customer impact was limited. They dont share information on many things. Why was the imprint started? We dont know. Why was it stopped without any notice to the customers? We dont know. Is there any plan for the Scouring and the releasing of books in the series? We dont know. Why , even if there are novels released, are they released out of the blue, and is there no sense of forthcoming books for customers to look forward to? We dont know. Why is even the annual BL preview cancelled? What happened to the BL Celebration? We dont know. Could the Crime/horror imprint return? Seems unlikely but then their ways seem random. As Felix mentions, their print runs are small so its unlikely to do with customers not buying enough but then again they will know what they sell a lot of, even if we dont.

The downside of the omnibus is the tiny, minuscule print. It is just too small.

All 3 look interesting. Obviously Fehervari is a big surprise. The other 2 I will definitely try excerpts of.

Seconded. An awesome series and one of my top 5 favorites ( alongside the Silmarillion, Song of Ice and Fire, Farseer Trilogy and sequels, Guy Kay's books and First Law trilogy).

Received my copy, hated the "slipcase" as I thought I might. Very poor material. Didnt get the books out , for a start. And then the slipcase was just flimsy, I ripped it apart and put it in the trash. In terms of book size I am not quite sure why this could not have been 1 big book. I dont mind 2 books but they did charge a lot more, which was surely why they split it.

Why is it more horror than crime?
