Some progress on a few units this weekend. Khenetai: Finished the second half of the unit. Leviathans: The one on the right had traitor stuff on it I'm removing. Still need to finish filling in the eye of Horus on the codpiece and then build arms for the left. Right is magnetized but I need to print some guns for it. Mounted centurion/praetor/whatever Still needs the main guns magnetized. Decent progress considering how busy this week has been, bit I need to take pictures of the stuff I've painted so far.

Good question. I tried before the Tamiya clear method over gold and found it very difficult to work with, so I'm not doing that. I tried a few red metallics (AP has one, and TurboDorks Redrum) but didn't feel they were vibrant enough. So right now the forerunner is AP speedpaint over gold. I think the color I liked best was Carmine Dragon

I used them (as TS with the Corvidae power) and found them incredibly lethal. Much more so than my plasma support squad. That said they're very fragile so I'm not sure they're "busted" but they do seem very good.

Yes, they do. Pg 216 of the BRB, Repair Tests says they make one Repair test in the active player's turn, and a result of 6 allows you to remove one status.

Greetings. I've been working a lot lately on growing my Heresy armies, so I thought I ought to start keeping track of some of that. I started Heresy (sort of) back in 2018-2019 with what was supposed to be a Thousand Sons army that could be used in 40k and 30k both. That didn't pan out very well and I eventually lost interest in TS as a 40k army and sold them off, but couldn't bring myself to sell all the HH elements. When 2e dropped I picked up the box and a few other things to start Sons of Horus but was trying to paint them with contrast and didn't like the results so I shelved most of it. Then last spring I decided to repurpose what I could into White Scars, and have been slowly working on them since. With the 3e boxset I've been adding to my TS again to try to get both legions ready to play bigger games. A big part of what I love most in HH is the kitbashing, so I took some quick pics of some HQs I've put together. Nothing crazy but I am pretty happy with them. The White Scars: And some Thousand Sons: I've played 2 smaller games (1500pts) so far, but we've been making bigger lists so next game will probably be bigger.

I'll be very interested to see how much these cost. I could definitely see grabbing one for my White Scars if its not too much.

I played a game where this came up with a blast weapon on a dreadnought volley firing. I can't find anywhere that it is disallowed but I agree it feels wrong.

Would also work with Implacable Advance

That model looks awesome, but that scythe is so long and thin I'm already worried about mine breaking.

Is there any way to give a Praetor Paragon of Battle? If so, how?

Built 3 so far and went Disintegrator and Fist (no shredder). I was thinking about building the other 3 with dual plasma. Dual disintegrators seems too hazardous to the user for models that expensive, and since they can't fire out of LoS and you only get Firing Protocols if you don't move I was questioning how often you'd be firing both guns anyway.
