  1. I think Chronomancer makes more sense than a Monolith going up (to me, anyway). I don't follow tournament lists or anything but I wasn't under the impression people were bringing multiples, and they still die pretty easily, so that seems a bit unnecessary unless my experience is out of the norm.
  2. It seems very odd to me that Tau codex points aren't in this, given the timing.
  3. Yeah, I always cut the pegs down a lot and never had a problem.
  4. The finecast Overlord was probably the worst finecast model I ever got. Bubbles in the cape, badly warped staff that broke repeatedly, and the whole body was warped forward a bit so he looked off balance. Edit: that was a lie. I bought finecast Szeras and truly had no idea how it was supposed to go together. I was either missing a piece or it was miscast or there was just a weird hole in his thorax or something (on top of all the warping) so I never even built it, just chopped some bits off to put on others. THAT was the worst finecast model I ever got.
  5. I've been selling a ton of stuff on eBay (all buy it now, no auctions) and its been great. I typically list something for about 75-80% of GW's price and most moves quick. If it doesn't sell quick I just lower the price a little and then it usually does. I recently met a few people who apparently hate the hobby side so much they pay people to even build and prime their models (which is baffling to me!) which may be why some people will pay about as much as you can get from a FLGS.
  6. Wow, that's dedication! I imagine that would be too much for my wowstik. Maybe some other model, but I would think something like the Stylo with some quality burs would be your best bet.
  7. I do have a wowstik which is great for pinning. I don't know how it would do with removing matetial or anything like that, though.
  8. Cleaning up as in removing mold lines and flash and such? Dremel makes a series of hobby tools called Stylo (I dont have it, yet, but I plan to get it) that looks ideal. I have a regular Dremel (cant remember the size, sorry) but it ends up being overkill on pretty much anything hobby related so I never use it.
  9. Thanks to all of you for the work you've put in to helping the B&C!
  10. =][= Let's all take some deep breaths here. Remember that different opinions are NOT cause for insults and demeaning comments. This thread will need to be cleaned up a bit before being unlocked again. =][=
  11. For Saim-Hann I prefer the darker scheme.
  12. Ready to call these Incubi done. I haven't painted all the trophies but I kind of want to leave them and paint them in appropriate colors (if possible) when they kill stuff in game. I think the Klaivex is the best painted model I have done (in a technical sense, I still probably prefer the Void Dragon but that's probably not because of my paint job). Need to decide what to vow next, since I definitely have time to finish something else now!
  13. For April, I, Tyriks, pledge to finally finish these Incubi I started 3 years ago. Doing a slow grow campaign starting with the Combat Patrols so I actually need to make progress on these. For some reason I started every unit in the Patrol but never finished any.
  14. Finished the armiger! Will be nice to finally make progress on my Knights. No progress on the Scorpions
  15. I started painting an Armiger to test out a scheme for my Knights and realized I should vow it since it's the first painting I've done all month. So, I vow to paint this armiger:
