Minor correction here - Avellone did work on F:NV, and I think was lead for one or two of the DLCs, but Josh Sawyer was lead for F:NV itself. Otherwise, well said!

I've struggled a lot with this vow, but I'm finally done. We've been playing more Necromunda than 40k lately so it was hard to make myself care about 40k enough to paint these. Genestealers: Regular Raveners: Hyperadapted Raveners Swarmlord and Broodlord

I think your first point may be mistaken. Page 60, step 1 says "Starting with the player who has Priority, players take turns to select one of their Ready models to activate." It does say later if one player runs out of models to activate, the other player then activates all their remaining models. -

I agree that the theme matters a lot. Tyranids have a huge roster and a lot of the detachments are very specific in what they help, so if you a Crusher Stampede kind of army it'll look very different from a Vanguard army. Is there a specific disposition or theme you'd like to shoot for?

The only limit, as far as I can tell, is without a subscription you are limited to one army roster at a time.

You do not need to subscribe to WH+ to get the app. For 40k, I primarily use the GW app and am not a subscriber.
