Is there no chance that Farsight Enclaves will get a supplement codex, kinda like Black Templars in relation to the SM, where we'd get rules for The Eight and some other things? Or maybe a WD issue with faction rules & units?

And I need to agree with Lemondish here, even if they have a "few" animators, most of these cinematics - given the timeframe that was actually used to create these is unknown - would require the efforts of a studio with at least a crew of 15-20 artists ranging from animators, riggers, matte painters, modelers, producers, IT support... (most likely more, and even large FX houses that pump out cinematics for game trailers outsource roto and tracking to companies in India) Yeah, cinematics are not done in house, even at AAA game companies. Almost always outsourced. The quality issue folks are talking about is mostly down to a simple budget issue. This conversation has been had many times: creative: "the strobing effect makes the surfaces of the models flat, if we did more texture mapping it might come off as more photorealisitic" producer: "sorry, that's not in the budget, we don't have enough for a surface modeler at this point" creative: "ok, so moving on to shot 0120..."

You swung for the fences, much akin to Icarus flying too high, but I cannot begrudge your herculean efforts to pull this off.
